Tina from Verde Beauty is an absolute gem! Not only did she work wonders with my hair and makeup, but her warmth, humor, and calming presence made my wedding day even more special. She truly understands her craft and knows how to make you feel like the most beautiful version of yourself. Couldn't have asked for a better experience!

I'll be honest, sometimes I see photos from wedding hair and makeup services and that just doesn't feel like me or my vibe - but from beginning to end, it was great working with Verde! All my friends said it was the most beautiful I ever looked but I still looked like myself - it was the biggest compliment I could have received! I appreciated the survey they sent to get to know the style and look I was going for and pair me with the right hair and makeup folks. I worked with Bailey and Alyssa who were fantastic. The trial was super helpful, and after sitting with it for a few hours I was able to decide on a few things I wanted to alter for the big day - Bailey and Alyssa were super accommodating to make sure I had the exact look I wanted! Tina and Jeanna were very helpful. I was confused about the timeline of things for the wedding day and they talked me through it, and were fast to respond as ladies added more services leading up to the big day. On the day of the wedding all my gal pals decided they wanted lashes, which wasn't planned ahead of time. Bailey was great and was able to accommodate all of them no problem! I'm very thankful to have worked with Verde for my wedding!

Bobbi and the Verde Beauty team did such an incredible job with both hair and makeup for me and my bridesmaids!! I had the pleasure of working with Bobbi for the preview, rehearsal dinner, welcome party, and wedding day. I would 100% recommend Tina and her team! I first met with Tina for a pre-wedding session where we tried on a few looks. She was very patient and listened to my preferences. It was important to me that I felt like I still looked like myself, but just elevated - and she was able to help me pull that off. I was also a bit nervous about what the wedding planning stress had done to my skin, and she made me feel at ease about that. I’ve never had my hair and makeup done professionally before so it was a bit intimidating, and she made me feel comfortable during the process. Meghan and Bailey were absolutely incredible. Not only we’re they able to handle a diverse group of people, both skin tone and hair texture, they were able to make me feel my absolutely most beautiful I have ever felt. Tina was AMAZING!!!! Seriously I can't say it enough. She did both my hair and makeup as well as my bridesmaids. Tina put real flowers in my hair from the florist and they stayed in all night some how. I'm not sure what sorcery she did to make it happen but they stayed and I was dancing all night long. Tina truly was the best and made a bride who never wears make up feel beautiful and comfortable.

Tina did my hair and makeup for my three days Bengali wedding festivities. She is very friendly and punctual. I had a dress malfunction on my wedding day and Tina helped me to fix it. Also, she is quite familiar with South Asian weddings and and how to style South Asian brides.

The crew was very kind, very efficient, personable and professional. In the initial test, I brought inspo but did not have a clear vision of what would look best with my dress; they discussed with me and among themselves, and came up with a hairdo that was both regal and perfect for my alt side-shaved head. The makeup had a glitzy pop for New Year's Eve without overwhelming my features. The ladies that worked on us were incredibly supportive and sweet. I highly recommend this vendor.

I loved working with Verde Beauty for my wedding day! I had hair and makeup done for myself and a number of bridesmaids and family members and the whole day went so seamlessly and I felt beautiful! Ashley did amazing with makeup getting an effortless, easy look that had me feeling my best! Bri was magic working with my natural curls and really making them pop! The whole team was great to work with for the day of and for scheduling trials before the event. I wasn't happy with my hair after my trial so I spoke with Tina on the phone who helped me figure out the issue, what we could do to correct it, and helped me schedule a retrial. The retrial was perfect! I truly appreciated the time and attention the Verde team put in to help me feel so beautiful on my wedding day!

Tina was an amazing stylist for my wedding! She worked with five of us, all with different hair types and style preferences, and Tina knocked it out of the park! She was patient, she stayed a little long to do a few touch ups before she left, and so friendly! I recieved so many compliments on my hair and it really was so beautiful, Tina listened to what I wanted done with my hair, and delivered perfectly. Verde Beauty did fantastic job with their end-to-end service for our destination wedding in New Orleans. -- Some key highlights: - swift communication via email - seamless digital payment, info tracking (you can revisit at anytime), - informative questionnaire (inspires you to consider what you'd like, a good guidance for doing your own homework) - flexible timing for bridal trial (I'm from out-of-town, and was able to get my trial done around Christmas time with about a month's notice) - mastery in both the hair/makeup and communications ---- The day-of service was impeccable. The crew arrived on time and with everything ready to go. The stylists worked magic on styling natural hair, curling very straight hair (they stayed the whole night for my bridesmaids!), and handled sticky situations (folks who were opinionated but not as effective in communication ...) very calm and professionally. The crew finished everyone's hair and makeup right on the dot. Can't ask for a better experience :)

Verde Beauty literally made our day so beautiful. Our makeup artist and hairstylists were so talented and wonderful. They were kind, friendly, and so easy to talk to, making our morning feel relaxed and organic. A few of my bridesmaids commented that they had never felt more beautiful than they did that day. Leah did my makeup for my bridal shoot and wedding day. I have never felt photogenic in my life but for some reason when Leah does my makeup every photo turns out amazing with little effort on my part. She was so receptive if I wanted to make some tweaks and so so so nice! She made getting ready with my girls a fun and enjoyable experience. I don't where to begin, first off this is long over due. Second, Tina did such an amazing job for my hair & make up at my wedding- hands down one of the best decisions I made! Tina literally made me look FLAWLESS on my wedding day. I booked Tina about 6-7months out, and I can’t recommend Verde Beauty and Tina enough! If I lived in NOLA I would become a regular customer of Tina. The whole beauty group was super professional, from the phone consultation, to emails and texts, everything was responded in a timely manner, and just super great to work with! I’m not from LA so booking a vendor for hair and makeup seemed pretty daunting because I was so worried how we would do the trial run, decide on makeup, etc. but Verde Beauty put me at ease with the whole set up and literally took all my stress away! Plus it was a super nice touch to get a surprise in the mail from them once I booked them! I decided to do a trial the day before the wedding, it was super relaxing with Tina and we were able to connect and make some decisions how to do my hair and makeup. I went with keeping my natural curls and did like a CA boho makeup look with some glam on the eyes. So, people with curly hair Tina **KNOWS HOW TO STYLE CURLY HAIR!!!** Tina was super receptive of what I wanted and nailed it on the trail run! I knew that on my wedding day I was in such good hands and that I was going to look great! Since not being from New Orleans, I was also super worried about the heat and humidity which I am not used to, but on my wedding day my makeup stayed in place the ENTIRE day even when we were out and about taking photos! Tina and her team were awesome! They made sure to have enough stylists over to get everyone's hair and make-up done with plenty of time and everyone loved their looks. Tina also did a wonderful job walking me through planning the look - discussing with me what it was about certain styles that I liked to tailor a look for me. And the make-up held up through not only New Orleans humidity and heat, but also hours of dancing and sweating like crazy through a Second Line!

Very thankful to have had Tina handle our makeup on our special day. She was great with our little flower girls and of course, made us all look fantastic. She was also very diligent in cleaning her tools and brushes after each individual application which was so so appreciated! This team is amazing!! I was an out of town bride getting married in Baton Rouge and they worked with me every step of the way over the phone and email. Verde Beauty was absolutely amazing for wedding make-up. Each member of our bridal party has very different style when it comes to make-up, and Verde was able to make each girl feel beautiful! Tina is amazing!! From our first meeting, she made me feel so comfortable and confident in her and her team! I am not one to wear much makeup day to day, and my hair is pretty short, so I really had no idea what I wanted to do for my wedding hair & makeup, but Tina offered me recommendations and asked questions to help me figure it out. When I went in for my preview, Tina was so so helpful in understanding my vision even though I wasn't entirely sure of it yet! When the wedding day came, I had a few changes from the preview, but Tina had no issues accommodating them. I don't where to start, Tina & Verde Beauty slayed hair & make up at my wedding- hands down one of the best decisions I made! Doing a bride's hair and make up is probably one of the hardest jobs for a wedding, in my opinion, and Tina took it to the next level of A+. Let me start by saying I'm kind of picky (sister is a stylist, I cannot help it). I also had a really specific vision--vintage glam 1930's wedding. Tina gave me pointers about styles to choose via phone consultation before I even hired her and made me feel really at ease, which made it a super easy decision to hire her team (Verde has experience in stylized shoots, by the way, if you are interested in this kind of thing, like I was). On the day of, let me just say the execution was IMMACULATE. I'm talking the whole get up of vintage glam make up (down to the detail of everyone having red lips) and each person having a unique, stylized updo (victory roles, big glam waves, low pin curls, etc.) ... exactly like I wanted. For my hair, we ran a bit short of time and Tina totally drove me to the venue to finish it. She perfected my look complete with my veil at the end. When I look back at my pictures I just feel so happy - for a bride, this is exactly what you want. And Tina and her team make it such a fun process for the wedding party. (Afterward, I showed my pictures to my stylist in Brooklyn and she was like "These are the coolest wedding updos I've ever seen - this is a really, really good stylist!) I also found Tina's personality (as a stylist) to be very fitting for me. I really wanted honest opinions/advice and someone I could communicate directly with, while telling stories and having fun! Tina helped me decide on which style to do without just flat out agreeing with everything I said (which can happen in the wedding industry ). I decided to do a trial two days before the wedding, which made me a little nervous. But it was super relaxing and we were able to connect and make some decisions after the first styling. Tina was super receptive to what I wanted and adjusted after the style was practiced - she just made it easy for me, which I SO appreciated. Finally, her team was also really on point and professional throughout the entire process of hiring to the day of (for reference, we hired here about 6 months out and I'd recommend snatching a spot even earlier - she does A LOT of weddings so book fast). I would 100% recommend Tina & Verde- Just hire her right now. Easy decision!

Ruth from Verde Beauty was so great! I had a not-so-good experience with the girl who did my hair for my bridal portraits (no one from Verde, it was in a different city). The girl who did my hair for my portraits didn’t really listen to what I wanted exactly and I was disappointed with how some of my pictures turned out. But, Ruth from Verde beauty did so amazing. She listened to exactly what I wanted and I absolutely loved how everything looked on my wedding day! Ruth was also very calm and relaxed, and that helped me to feel calm and relaxed on such a big day!

Karen and Bucket from Verde were AMAZING! They took the time with each one of my family members and bridesmaids to make sure they felt their absolute best. Before leaving Karen and Bucket took the time to touch up everyone's look right before pictures. I immediately felt comfortable with Karen at my bridal trial and knew I made the right choice!

Verde beauty was a recommended vendor by my venue, Oak Alley Plantation & I couldn’t have been more pleased. My makeup was flawless & the technician was too sweet! She came to the plantation home that day to do my make-up, arrived promptly, was very professional, & you could tell she had a passion for her work. I worked with her during a pageant and (although I never thought I would get married) I told myself after one encounter Tina and Verde would be the team I used on my wedding day! I asked for big and extra and she made my ideal bridal look come to life effortlessly. One word describes my experience with Tina and Karen: FABULOUS!! Tina did my hair and makeup and my mother's hair and makeup, while Karen did members of my wedding party. Since I don't usually wear makeup, it was important that my makeup be enough to last the day and night, but also still be me. My hair and makeup was exactly what I wanted and Tina was able to do just that. I met with Tina twice before my wedding day and she was always willing to work with my crazy work schedule so that I could have trials and bridal portraits done. Tina and Karen kept everything light and bubbly on the day of and my whole wedding party kept laughing and having fun the whole time. I also have to note how much I enjoyed meeting Tina's dog Lobo. He was a definite bonus for our Pomeranian loving family. If you want great hair, makeup, and an effortless wedding day, book Tina!

Karen did my wedding hair and it was absolutely gorgeous. We did a trial run a week or so prior, and my hair on my wedding day was even better and more beautiful than I expected. Everyone was so impressed. She also had a great attitude and got along great with my bridal party. My bridesmaids also had their makeup done by Puckett, who drives in from Houston occasionally for Verde. They all looked so natural and beautiful. Additionally, she really saved us when she agreed to also touch up my husband's chin (which had been scratched BADLY by his sister's dog days before the wedding), free of charge, which I SO appreciated. You can't see it at all in the pictures. They were both great.

Working with Verde Beauty was one of the best decisions I made when picking wedding vendors! I worked most closely with the owner, Tina, and she was truly awesome! She did the hair and makeup for my bridal photos, and she even scheduled me last minute for another trial right before the wedding when I changed my mind on how I wanted to do my hair. Every single one of my bridesmaids and my mom were happy with their hair and make up the day of the wedding! It was many of their first times having hair and make up done professionally and she did just the right amount so they looked beautiful, natural and the makeup still looked amazing in the photos! I also hired Tina to stay and help while we were taking photos and do touch ups. This was truly the best decision I made! My wedding day was wet and rainy and cold and if I did not have Tina there to do touch-ups my hair would have been all frizzy and messed up due to the crazy weather. Tina was absolutely amazing in helping to fix any fly always and frizz and touch up my make up. She also helped the bridesmaids with touch ups if they needed them! Another thing I want to mention is that Tina is not only a hair and make up artist, she truly is a bride advocate. Throughout the day she checked in on me and made sure I was calm, happy, and enjoying myself. If she could tell something was stressing me she helped to alleviate that stress. I give Tina and her team the absolute highest rating!!! Guests at my wedding who were planning their own weddings even asked who did our hair and makeup and wanted to hire Verde because they did such a great job. So after several failed attempts of securing my wedding day hair stylist i reached out to Verde beauty studio. Even though it was pretty last minute, they were quick to respond and get things going for me. I was planning from afar so they made sure to keep me in the loop and made me feel so reassured. Karen did my wedding day hair and I’ve never felt more beautiful!

Without Verde Beauty, my wedding day would not been complete without them and their services. Let me preface by saying that in the world of make-up and hair, I am a beginner. I rarely wear make-up, and I rarely style my hair, but I knew that I wanted to look glamorous for my wedding day. Immediately upon consultation, Tina was infinitely helpful and offered some great advice, considering that I was planning my wedding all by myself. I went ahead and booked them a year and a half in advance, and I didn't even want to consider another vendor. My mind was made up when I set foot inside the studio. I may not be a bride anymore, but I will always be a Verde customer! Even before my wedding, I had already used some of their salon services like microblading, hair cuts, and hair coloring and not once was I ever disappointed. Since I've moved to Baton Rouge in the last four years, I haven't found a hair stylist that I've trusted to cut my hair, until I met Karen. Karen has cut my hair several different times and she also has highlighted my hair when I never had any experience coloring my hair as well as helping me in the process of purchasing extensions for my big day (because I wanted mermaid hair). I also had Sarah for my engagement pictures, bridals, and wedding day hair & make-up, and I was seriously blown away each time. When Sarah did my engagement shoot for make-up and hair, I knew that I wanted her for my wedding day! Also, props to her mad microblading skills too because I had no eyebrows when I met her! My bridesmaids were also very impressed. My Matron of Honor stated that she wish she felt this beautiful on her wedding day after having hair and make-up done. It doesn't matter who you have for your services because you're in great hands either way. Everyone is very helpful and friendly, and every time I come in, I feel like one of the girls. So if you're on the fence, I hope this has convinced you to book Verde whether it be for wedding or salon services.

First, I have to say that I love Bobbi. She and I first met for my hair trial, where I think we got along very well. She did exactly what I wanted and did not even roll her eyes when I told her what I did NOT want. I could have gotten on her nerves, but she was so cool from the beginning and even told me that she liked that I told her what I did not want. Bobbi and Tina were there on the day of and did a great job with all the hair and makeup. Really did a great job telling us what would work and what would not and kept to our individual styles. Everyone looked amaze! I would also say that I really liked how responsive they were to emails (had to add additional services last minute) and I really like their online invoicing. made my life so easy! I would totally recommend verde. I used Insta to find them and to do research on their work.

From the moment I first spoke with Tina over the phone, I loved her. She put me right at ease and answered all (however stupid or tedious they may have been) of my questions with such confidence; and at that time, I didn't know if it was "too good to be true" or if she was just like every other hair and makeup artist. As it turns out, she truly is the best! Because I was so busy working, Tina arranged a phone conference so we could discuss all details prior to ever meeting or even scheduling a trial run. She REALLY takes her time with her brides - she is is so patient and so understanding. She goes way over and above. She is not just there to provide information on her services, she does SO much more than that. She is so knowledgeable about weddings, timelines/timeliness, relationships/dealing with members of the bridal party and beyond, and attention to detail. As I spent more and more time with her (for engagement photos, bridals, etc.), I grew to love her more and more - I didn't even think that was possible. On the day of my wedding, she arrived early, set up without any direction needed from me, and had ALL 10 of my bridesmaids, mother-of-the-bride, and me ready on time, if not a few minutes early! I was very nervous about this seeing as I did not hire a wedding coordinator. As it turns out, I didn't even need one! Tina had everything under control. She had me prepped and ready, assisted me into my dress, and stayed to make sure all of the pictures at my house beforehand went well. She is so professional, and she is great at staying calm throughout the entire process, putting her bride and bridal party at ease. She truly is a woman of many talents, including her great business skills as an event coordinator, great people/interpersonal skills to manage a bridal party with many varying personalities and preferences, and of course, providing stunning hair and makeup! My hair and makeup lasted all night long. Of course, because of my own nervousness, I brought powder to blot my cheeks and nose between wedding and ceremony, but I didn't even need it, and my curls were fabulous! They looked so great in all of the pictures. I am so very please with how I looked on the day of my wedding- just as I had imagined. I am so glad I chose Tina and her team for my wedding day! I couldn't have done it without them.

Verde Beauty is great! It was only a month or so before my wedding day when I realized that while my talented bridesmaids could do their own makeup... we needed someone for hair! Luckily, our photographer (The Red M) suggested Verde Beauty and thank goodness they had availability on my date. I signed up for hair for 5 bridesmaids and both the moms and hair and makeup for me. Our stylist was on-time, very friendly and made us all look amazing! She even my very straight hair wavy and full of body. I would recommend Verde Beauty to any bride in New Orleans!

My experience with most of the Verde staff including Tina wasn't the best, but Sarah was INCREDIBLE!! If it wasn't for her, I would have rated Verde at a 1 star. You should definitely personally ask for Sarah above any other stylist there. She did EXACTLY what I wanted for my lashes, hair and make-up on my wedding day and made me look incredible. She was so sweet and personable to all my wedding party when she came to our house! Most all my other services done including spray tan were far below subpar. The other staff at the salon treated me more as a inconvenience than an actually paying customer/bride. Most of the time when I came to the salon, it seemed more like a hangout for the owner's friends. If you are going to go there and even if you aren't ask for Sarah!

The ladies of Verde Beauty Studio are nothing short of amazing. Tina, the owner is fabulous and did an amazing job explaining all of their offerings. My hair and makeup artists made me feel at ease, but most importantly - they made me feel beautiful! I recommend Verde Beauty Studio to anyone who wants to look and feel beautiful with a dependable team of professionals!!

After my hair and makeup were finished on my wedding day, I looked in the mirror and I thought to myself, "I will never look as good as I do now ever again in my life." That was a very bittersweet feeling, but it goes to show how great of a job the hair and makeup artists at Verde did that day. THE BEST! Amazing! I had a relatively small plantation wedding, and Tina did makeup and hair for several of us including myself, the bride. She was absolutely perfect. She showed up right on time and got to work! She really does make beautiful happen. Tina KNOWS what she is doing and will make your wedding day so stress-free! She and another stylist from Verde did our updos and makeup, both of which turned out flawless. Tina is personable and skilled at what she does. I would definitely recommend her and the other stylists at Verde!

Tina did my hair and makeup for a trial run, bridals, and my wedding. She did and AMAZING job. Tina also did my bridal parties makeup and Karen did their hair, and they are both awesome people and do gorgeous work. I love that they came to my sisters house so we didn't have to worry about traveling anywhere, and made the day a lot more stress free. They also finished with everyone early so we had plenty of time to relax after and take a lot of pictures. If I could do it all over again, I would pick them every time!

Tina and her crew did a fabulous job on my wedding hair and makeup! I booked them for bridal portraits and my wedding and was very pleased with how everything turned out. They were on time and professional. I wanted to make a few tweaks and Tina is open to feedback and really wants you to be happy with the end result.
