a range of experience and quality among professional photographers in general --and I wasn't willing to take a chance for our wedding! After weeks (maybe even months) of research and charting out pros and cons of all the prospective photographers, I still felt like I wasn't able to find any photographers within my price point who could deliver the quality I was looking for. Eventually, I reached out to a friend who is herself a professional photographer and photo editor, and that's when she recommended Violet. After looking at Violet's website and seeing her incredible work and at such a reasonable price (especially considering she would have to travel to DC for the wedding) I was sold! Working with Violet both leading up to the wedding, and on the day of was such a breeze. She's the perfect mix of laid back and professional, which made taking couples and family portraits super fun and stress-free (even though we were running a bit tight on time.) She also has an incredibly fast turn-around time and was able to get all of our edited photos back to us in just 1 month! I'm actually currently in the process of creating a wedding album and took forever just to pick out my favorite photos because there were so many gems to choose from! We had Violet shoot our engagement session, an in-home session, and our wedding day...and I already can't wait to come up with another reason to hire her to shoot us again!
