Ok so where do I start?! This venue is absolutely perfect!!! Scott and Lauren are the most amazing, kind, and generous people we've ever met. They truly made all of wishes come true. From the beginning my husband and I were having such a h...
ard time finding a venue in our budget that was beautiful and with only a week left till our wedding date. Lauren went out of her way to help us and even found vendors in the area. They made us feel at home and were on our team since day one. We couldn't have asked for a better outcome everything came together perfectly the cleanliness of the event center from the brides room, grooms room, kitchen, restrooms, ballroom area, decorations they even had music for us since we didn't have time to make a Playlist for our reception. Later that night as we arrived to our motel room we noticed that our autistic son had left his blankets at the venue and were in shock as it was already close to 11 pm. I felt horrible having to text if we could go back and search for the blankets and within minutes I got a reply with "of course you can come ". Bottom line there isn't a price tag I wouldn't pay to have another event here. We want to thank them again and forever from the bottom of our hearts for making this day everything in the world for us. Our wedding was a day to remember and the sunset made it feel unrealistic with its natural beauty. We can't wait to come back hopefully for our 1st year anniversary. Look no further Waterfront event center will leave you speechless at the end of the night!

We're so thankful for their help all the way through to our reception send-off (Scott even saved the day by providing us with a beautiful backdrop for our photo booth on the day of). Not only is the venue a stunning location for a wedding with its beautiful views of the bay and Moody Gardens, but the management really cares about each bride/groom. They make planning an event of a lifetime simple, and that's not an easy task to accomplish. The level of care was certainly felt! y were as excited for our event as we were and were extremely accommodating to our specific needs. It was a great value when they suggested getting the bartender and server. It was at an additional cost, but all included in the same paperwork, so it made things very efficient and easy. The day-of they were there to help with any of our needs but also just let us do our thing to get set up and ready. The bridal and groom suites were the perfect places to get ready and hang out before the ceremony. Everything went off without any trouble and the location was just perfect for our sunset wedding. I can't say enough kind words about Lauren and her dedication to making us comfortable and making sure we had nothing to worry about but enjoying ourselves. Then there is the venue itself. It is gorgeous. We had the service on the deck as the sun was setting. It was beautiful. Then we moved inside to the beautiful ballroom for dinner and dancing. There was a spacious brides room for us and a just as spacious grooms room. There was plenty of room for everyone to move around. We had the inside plus the two decks for people to move around. If you want a dream wedding with people who truly care about what you want come see Scott and Lauren. This is more than a business to them. They want your dreams to come true.

Very elegant salon, brides room, grooms room, bar, private parking…the list is endless... and on top of this, you add an excellent management team on the hands of the owners, Scott and Lauren Vines. Yes, you won’t be dealing with bureaucracy. They provide a very personable, professional support and guidance along the entire process. They will make sure everything is at the highest standards and will allow you to tailor your wedding the way you want. Very flexible and willing to come up with ideas to make the wedding even better. We had a very specific and unique request for our dinner. We had Bielinas Catering's Chefs doing a paella show live on the covered deck, cooking the paella right there for our guests. Everything was memorable! Thank you Lauren and Scott for all your hard work and for allowing us and all our out-of-the box ideas to come true to have the wedding of our dreams. She has a great ability to listen to your needs and wishes while offering helpful advice and suggestions. As Lauren will say, the venue is yours to do as you wish. You are welcome to bring in your own caterer and other vendors, and we are always happy to provide you with names and ideas to help you any way possible. You are always our highest priority and we only host one wedding per day.
