MAS Music is a musical wedding ensemble from Brooklyn, NY. Specializing in ceremonies and cocktail hours, they believe that the sound of live music adds an element of elegance and class to any event. From a young age, founder Marie Stack has been writing, arranging, and performing music. Trumpet, violin, and piano are just some of the instruments Marie plays. The musicians in MAS Music are just as talented and versatile as their founder. Playing instruments ranging from the saxophone to the bass guitar, the band performs both traditional and non-traditional songs. They are also happy to include any unique requests a couple may have for their special day. We are one core group of people, with a network of 10+ other musicians who makeup the greater collective. Our different band configurations are designed to blend jazz, indie rock, classic rock, and contemporary pop to present a unique performance at every event. Formerly known as Ainslie Street Vibes, Mod Society was founded by Brooklyn based musician Claudio Marquez in 2009 after moving to NYC to further his music career. His studio, which resides in Williamsburg, acts as our headquarters for recording, rehearsing, and managing all projects.
