He views weddings as a celebration of history, happiness, and hope for the future. Edmund began his journey officiating marriages when asked to officiate a friend's wedding. He wondered why couples had to marry someone who wouldn't take the time to get to know them—and thus, Wedmund was born. Edmund loves interpersonal connections and getting to know people. In addition, he loves public speaking. It felt only natural for him to have a meaningful contribution to a couple’s special day as an officiant, as it is an outlet for so many of his strengths and interests. As well as officiating marriages, Edmund can write vows and toasts for your special day. He is happy to attend your wedding rehearsal to ensure everything is perfect and exactly how you want it. His services are suitable for non-religious ceremonies, interfaith ceremonies, vow renewals, and civil unions. He thrives in the wedding space and would love to play a role in your precious memories!

My name is Edmund, and I LOVE weddings. They're based on happiness and are a celebration of intertwined stories, histories, and journeys between two people that want nothing more than to be around each other. Honestly, what's not to like? I got my start in officiating by being asked by a dear friend to officiate her wedding. As a veteran English teacher, I already had a very strong grasp on writing and public speaking. In helping my friend, I realized that I loved crafting and sharing her and her partner's story so much that I knew being a storyteller for others was something I had to do.
