On our wedding day, when it came time for us to dance, the music started earlier than we expected and so we missed the very first few moves we needed to do - but Garincha had prepared us so well that we (two not especially rhythmically aware people) figured out how to seamlessly start the dance in time with the music. That took some musical confidence on our part - confidence we didn't have before working with Garincha! We can't recommend him and his studio enough. We also had the opportunity to work from time to time with other dancers in his team and they were all friendly, professional, and encouraging.

We had such a positive experience that I got a few lessons to practice a Mother-Son dance with my mom. It was the perfect gift. Nothing is better for a parent than the gift of quality time spent having fun and learning a new skill together. She was telling everyone she could that we were learning to dance and loved that we looked classy and confident when we hit the dance floor. ! As a couple with zero dance experience/rhythm, our goal was to learn a couple of dances to avoid swaying like high schoolers during our reception. We learned the Rumba and Mambo. Meghan is so kind and made us feel comfortable from day 1. She is a patient and fun instructor. Our lessons were the best part of wedding preparations, especially these last few weeks. They served as dedicated time for the two of us to enjoy ourselves and relax. I look forward to continuing our dance lesson date nights after the wedding. ss! I am a bit more experienced at dancing than my wife, and this was not an issue at all in the planning and choreography. When we see family and friends after the wedding, they still talk about how amazing our first dance was. I cannot recommend this studio highly enough! We feel as though the teachers there have become family to us. I cannot say how happy my wife and I are that we put time aside to dance with one another and enjoy one another's company throughout the crazy wedding planning process!

efore and contacted him 6 weeks before the day...it was kind of late notice. We were worried Garincha would say no, there is not enough time or that it would be a dumbed-down version of a dance. But Garincha was absolutely amazing. We selected music and he met us where we were in terms of our dancing abilities. He started off with the basics, and he has an incredible way of explaining complicated steps and flourishes that otherwise seem impossible. Above all he is so patient and kind. After the weekly lessons we had for 6 weeks we ready to salsa-and-cha-cha!! The memory my husband and I will carry is the experience, the laughs, and fun we had learning the dance. Every week, we'd look forward to going to dance class to learn the next part of our dance. The dance was a crowd-pleaser, and unforgettable component of our day. Our wedding was over a year ago and people STILL talk about our first dance - and it was only possible due to Garincha's amazing instruction.
