Gracing the shores of the Caloosahatchee River, White Orchid at Oasis in Fort Myers, FL offers couples a lavish and sophisticated wedding venue. On the lawn or under a tent outside, nuptials of up to 500 individuals can be hosted, while inside the home they can accommodate up to 150 guests. By taking advantage of the entire estate for both ceremony and reception, couples have a setting that they can individualize to suit their tastes. A dock on the Caloosahatchee River is accessible to the couple and guests and provides an ideal spot for wedding photographs. Inside the White Orchid, the rooms are furnished with pastel greens and beiges with washes of white throughout for a sense of delicacy. timely manner. The day of, Jamie and her crew were more than helpful setting up decor and making our vision come to life. We received so so many compliments after our wedding and were told it was the most beautiful wedding some of our guests had been to. The venue in itself is gorgeous so there is no need to overly decorate. Could not recommend White Orchid, Jamie or her team more! I would give them 10 stars if I could!!

rave about the food no matter what meal options you choose. There are many different layouts you can choose because of the amount of space. You cannot hear the traffic from the bridge going across the river. The bridal suite is perfect and spacious. This venue is everything plus more!

ay of coordinator and I was a little worried that I would not be able to hand all of it day of, but Jamie and her staff made the day so easy and made sure all I had to do was relax. The staff was friendly and inviting and by the end of the night they were even out dancing with us. Jamie is incredibly easy going and flexible, she even allowed me to use a few extra decorations she had on property which really brought it all together. Also the bridal suite was the perfect place for all the girls to get ready, and you get to look out the windows and watch it all come together.

It was a very neat experience watching the ceremony and reception set up throughout the whole day in the bridal suite. Jamie was absolutely amazing to work with. I had a million and one questions that I asked Jamie and she was prompt at answering them all. We thought it was going to rain on our wedding day and Jamie was able to get us a tent within 48 hours. Also the food is absolutely fantastic!! Everyone complimented the food and said it was simply amazing. The whole experience working with Jamie, Mindy and the other staff at White Orchid was a dream. usly we no longer have the funds for $20-25k wedding... I can't tell u the number of times we called/emailed /showed up to, trying to just TALK to someone about just switching dates!! Not even getting a refund on the $2k, just having them keep the money and let us put the date on hold until after I received a Transplant and was healthy! Not even 1 call back, not 1 email back, NOTHING!!! My fiance was in love with this place and the owners and /or whoever runs it does NOT care about people!!! If anyone would like more info specifically or maybe someone at white orchard would actually be interested in reaching out to us, please call me but this is a bad business model they follow as well as just bad people in general to know what happened to me and not even have the courtesy to call and try to work with us. ip to look at them in person. We virtually searched all over near Miami, Tampa, Naples, etc. to at least narrow it down to one area. Never did I ever think we would be confident enough to put a deposit down on a venue without seeing it first, but when we came across The White Orchid, and spoke to Jamie, we did just that. Jamie was welcoming in scheduling a tour on the specific weekend we traveled down. She helped recommend choices of additional vendors that all ended up to be amazing too. She made our whole experience of making decisions a breeze. From food choices, to linens, to overall layout she was very helpful in recommending but not persuading in any way. The food was also absolutely delicious! The mashed potatoes and popcorn shrimp were honorable mentions from our guests. Our big day ran smoothly, the whole staff was efficient and professional. Unfortunately, we did have a 5 minute down pour of rain right before dinner causing 5 of our tables to seek shelter. The staff was wonderful in providing these guests w additional chairs and serving inside. The venue is so beautiful we were sad to leave! Our guests were in awe of the overall atmosphere, and very little decorating was even needed. Lastly, one of my bridesmaids lost her bracelet and one of the staff members found it a few days later. Jamie contacted me and shipped it directly to her. AMAZING. We are so grateful for everything! A million thank yous is not even enough!

t over the river during dinner were phenomenal. Our guests continually commented on how beautiful the setting was. In addition, Jamie and Jacob run a catering company and the food they provided was just delicious. They had full staff available for the reception, which helped everything run smoothly. Our contract included the venue fee; tables, linens and seating for 100 guests for ceremony, reception, and cocktail hour; the catering; and the staff fees. We did not rent a tent and instead gambled with a ceremony on the lawn and dinner on the porch and in the garden. The weather was in our favor so it was just gorgeous. We had the dance floor set up inside, which was the perfect area, and it stayed cool with the doors open. The bridal suite upstairs is a very spacious area for getting ready, complete with a small kitchen and a refrigerator. There is also a new groom's cave for the men that they enjoyed (as did I, knowing they were all on the premises!). It was good for my groom and his 4 groomsmen, but it would probably feel a little crowded with more men than that. I am so happy we got married here, it was such a beautiful location and gave us the open-air, tropical Florida-style wedding we dreamed of. If this is a venue you are considering, it should be top of the list.

day in the bridal suite with snacks and bellinis getting our hair and makeup done, and I can't imagine a better way to have spent the morning! Jamie is fantastic, and very helpful with little details along the way. Her catering company Jamie & Jacob provides the food, which our guests are still talking about. My husband and I are foodies, and were impressed with the quality of the food and the menu selection offered - we were so excited to serve Jamie & Jacob's food to our guests! The only downside to the day was that it rained, but Jamie was terrific about touching base with me about the weather and our indoor alternative. Many of our guests had no idea we'd planned for the ceremony and reception to be inside, as the site lent itself perfectly to a cozy dinner on the back veranda with lots of fun on the dance floor indoors. In retrospect, I can't imagine a better place for us to host our wedding.

It is a perfect setting on the water with an elegant backyard celebration feel. We booked everything from Chicago, site unseen, in fact we didn't see the place in person until the week before the wedding. It is just as beautiful in person as it is online!! Guests raved about the setting and ambiance, it was exactly what we wanted in a venue and we could not have asked for a better location. If you are looking for an elegant backyard setting, with a beautiful house backdrop - book the White Orchid at Oasis! It was one of the best decisions we made!
