She worked diligently to give me everything that I wanted and SHE was just as excited as I was. She was a perfect addition to my wedding day. Her & Emily worked so well together to get my bridesmaid through their chairs without us feeling rushed. It was beautiful & I could not have asked for a more perfect experience!

Emily and team were great! They were available pretty last minute which I really appreciated, and even with some travel complications, their team showed up for us and did a great job with my bridal hair and then 11 other girls. Would highly recommend Hair by Emily Dami!!

Emily did my hair for my vow renewal. I was very worried about my hair since it is at an akward stage growing back after chemo. I always had long hair before and since I'm trying to grow it out, it isn't really in a style. I couldn't envision anything to do with it. Emily looked at photos of my hair and came up with several inspo pics to choose from. I found one I liked and Emily really made that vision happen. Emily and her crew were amazing! They were able to accommodate changes throughout the planning process because I decided to add multiple people at the last minute. Emily and Danielle did a fantastic job with all of my bridesmaids, mother of the bride/ groom, grandma and myself! We hired her along with Beauty by Tiffany, and since they are used to working with each other it allowed for an extremely fun and laid back experience for both hair and makeup. I changed my style a tiny bit after my trial and Emily was able to perfect exactly what I wanted for my hair. I'm so glad I made the decision to hire Emily!!!!!

Emily and Danielle were amazing on our wedding day! Everyone was so happy with how their hair turned out. Emily was easy to communicate with to ask questions and schedule my trial before the wedding. Emily did a great job styling my bridesmaid and mother’s hair for my wedding. They looked absolutely stunning, and she even tended to my daughter to make her feel special. I hadn’t purchased services for myself, but had a spot open since my maid of honor couldn’t make the wedding due to COVID. She sat me down and I really appreciated the special treatment more than I’d expected to. She did a great job and I felt beautiful and confident all night long!

When I did my hair trial, I was very excited. They styled my hair in a way that my hair stayed curly for hours. BUT, when they styled my hair on the day of, they did not curly it the same, specifically they did not part my hair into sections and do tight curls. Therefore, before they were even done, the curls had already fallen. The stylist re-curled the front curls, but it did not stay curled for long.

I booked bridal party hair services with Emily for our May wedding, and Emily and team were ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC to work with! Pricing for our group of 7 ladies was reasonable, the trial was everything I imagined, and on the day of, they did a wonderful job, and everyone got exactly the hair they wanted! Our hairstyles all held up throughout the day and night, and no one was frizzy even with the high humidity. Highly recommend!!

Miranda did the hair for my wedding and it was stunning! We had our trial run for my bridal portraits but it wasn't quite as romantic and loose as I wanted so she made the pivot on my wedding day! Miranda is so fun to talk to and made this portion of my wedding day so stress free and enjoyable. She also did this super fun braid on my mom which looked SO CUTE. And my mother in law looked stunning as well. Can't rave enough! Emily has some great girls on her team!

What a wonderful team Emily has! From the very beginning she was so helpful. I was a few minutes late to my trial because I was lost and she quickly reassured me it wasn’t a problem then even sent Deysi (my stylist) out to the parking lot I was in to help me find them! My trial with Deysi was great. She listened to what I wanted and created the look with ease. Afterwards we discussed some tweaks and she reassured me the day of it would be everything I was looking for. This wonderful woman showed up the day of my wedding and absolutely NAILED what I wanted! She went so far as to practice what I wanted on her daughter at home so it would perfect for my day. Beccie accompanied Deysi for my wedding day and they effortlessly created looks for my bridesmaids - some of them came prepared with pictures and some did not but that wasn’t an issue for these talented ladies at all! Emily is amazing! She was so quick with my party of 7, but also very careful at the same time. We got our hair done at the salon since our venue was close, and I am so happy we did this. We had the whole place to ourselves and we weren't shoved into a small hotel room. Her timing was perfect and all of our hair was beautiful. I found her as a bridal hair stylist, but now she does my regular cuts and colors as well. Her team does not disapoint!

My wedding was postponed due to COVID, so naturally my hair grew during quarantine. Emily got me back in for an additional trial. I got my nails done the morning of my wedding and arrived back to the site to see everything had gone smoothly and on track. My bridal party had so many different hair lengths and textures and Emily and team did a fantastic job on all!

Emily and her assistant are absolutely awesome! They were very kind, and made us all feel very comfortable. My daughter, her bridesmaid, maid of honor and myself all looked fabulous. And I have to say anyone that can tame my unruly hair into a style that I thought would be impossible is worth their weight in gold! With one simple picture from us of what we would like, they were able to duplicate the look perfectly. Emily is a hair savant! I'm not exaggerating, she is incredible at what she does and I would 100% recommend her to anyone looking for a hair stylist in Norfolk especially for a wedding stylist. Emily has done my hair for two weddings - my own and my sister's. Both times my hair looked incredible and most importantly, it held up. Amazing! Easy to communicate and get a hold of. The trial was perfect. I just showed her a photo of my dress and she had an idea and it was gorgeous. On my wedding day we were running behind but she did not take any short cuts and she remained calm and professional. (Even when I was not so calm). My entire party looked amazing. She even trimmed my hair right before the wedding. I plan to keep her number in my phone.
