Overpromised and underdelivered. This is the worst customer service experience I have ever had in my 35 years of life. I live in VA, and asked Jenifer if she could do a boquet, an arch arrangement, and provide a few flowers for my hair. She sai...
d yes. We were supposed to meet her (driving 3 1/2 hours to Delaware) and she said call me when you're up here. We did, while the store was open. We were told that she left early. So, we were unable to see her or make another trip up. We emailed her asking what happened. She said she forgot who I was and when I was coming up. Okay. Then, it was a struggle to simply convey what I wanted to her (very important that we had that in person meeting that never happened). She admitted that she has terrible communication skills but promised a good product. I drew pictures for her...all was well. My fiance and I even showed up at her shop 3 days before the wedding and helped her put together my boquet and pick flowers. She assured me that since she wasn't available to help put up the flowers that she would deliver them by 12 and give them to our wedding coordinator to put up. Well, the flowers were dumped off at the front desk by a man with no explanation 1 1/2 hours late. The boquet and flowers for my hair were gorgeous. I did not realize until I walked down the aisle that the flowers for our arch were not the vision that I drew. When she was texted pictures as a simple heads up with the promise that my fiance and I would call her to see if we could figure out what happened, she blamed my wedding coordinator and said "She can't be blamed" for what happened, because it was my job as the bride to help the wedding coordinator put the flowers up on the arch the day of my wedding! We finally spoke on the phone and before I could get a few sentences out inquiring what happened, she cut me off repeatedly interrupting saying, "I can refund you $100, that's all I can do. I'm not going to make you happy am I?" She then proceeded to blame me why it wasn't right as well as my wedding coordinator. Although she admitted that she left product out and never gave our coordinator instructions on how to put up what she did give her...it was still not her fault. She used excuse after excuse that she had another wedding to do. It was very unprofessional. Finally, she screamed at me and offered to give me ALL of my money back. All I wanted was a simple apology, and I would have settled for $100. For someone that didn't do anything wrong, sure seems like she knows she did by offering a full refund. We told her we'd like half of our money back, and we'd call it even. It wasn't just about the money. I spent so much time creating a vision for our wedding arch...where we did our vows...and it was due to time mismanagement, irresponsibility, and lack of communication on her part that it did not happen. I considered firing her the month before when I had a hard time with her, and now I wish I would have. I would not advise working with this woman. She is unprofessional, lacks emotional maturing and communication skills, does not take responsibility, and flat out can't deliver a product. BUYER BEWARE!
