My fiancée and I wanted to write our own vows for our upcoming nuptials but weren't too sure where to start. Alycia's book has been extremely helpful and really took the fear out of writing our own vows. The book is easy to read and put us at ease. I'm now confident in my vows where as before, I was a nervous wreck praying to somehow articulate through them. This book has really helped us to put our thoughts and feelings into words. I recommend this book to anyone wanting to write their own vows, wether you think you've got it all figured out or you're like us and needed guidance!

I'm Alycia, and I'm the Author of Wedding Vow Writing and the Founder of Wedshock.com, a bridal and newlywed lifestyle brand. We launched in 2013 after I realized the fairy tales and romantic comedies had been lying to me—there was way more to marriage than happily ever after. Since then, I've been in the business of preparing brides and cheering on newlyweds because I believe that a generation of strong, selfless and honest marriages can change the world. My husband and I live in New York above a publishing company that won't print my books despite my persuasive baking efforts...one day.
