We set up an in person meeting and he quickly became the very first vendor I selected during my planning process! He was there throughout the planning process (very quick to respond)... when I was in a really tough spot choosing a planner, he recommended a planner to me that I ended up loving and choosing! He's assertive yet kind and keeps the mood positive throughout the day/night. His knowledge and strong sense of direction will allow you to relax on your special day, you will get good shots, you're in the best of hands! He anticipated the optimal timing for photographing every part of our wedding, and masterfully did this in the background without ever seeming intrusive or in-the-way. He made every effort to photograph our wedding just as we had hoped, and the final photos we received were exactly what we wanted! Yair made sure my makeup was perfect, that we got photos with all of our special guests, he even coordinated our dream photographs on the beach before our ceremony! He communicated effortlessly with all the other vendors at our wedding, including our coordinator and DJ. I think it's also important to emphasize that with Yair, you're not just getting a wedding photographer - you're getting a wedding PRO. He doesn't just stand there and take photos. No no. The coordination and communication was poor right off the bat, but it wasn’t until after our engagement photos when we realized the quality was nowhere near up to par. Panicked, not only as we had put SO much planning in to these once-in-a-lifetime photos but more so because our wedding was just a couple months away, we jumped on theknot.com in hopes of finding a photographer that would be available on our special day *in the thick of wedding season* who was capable of producing quality, stand-out wedding photos. That’s when we found Yair. His photos looked like something out of Pinterest which is what I (and most other females) envisage when we think about our wedding photos. hen I came across Yair, I knew right away that we would hire him. Not only are his prices below the average cost for 8 hours of wedding day coverage, his photos are absolutely stunning. If you are like me and don't prefer that faded vintage look that results from over-exposure, then you will love Yair. His photos are brilliantly colorful and so vivid it will feel like you are revisiting your wedding day when he sends you the final product. As for his communication and flexibility - he is a gem. A very polite and genuinely nice person, Yair was never bossy on my wedding day. He knows exactly how to pose you to get the most flattering angle in the best light. His camera is like an extension of his own eyes, he can find that perfect shot in whatever setting you find yourself. Throughout the reception and dance party, there were times Yair was taking candid photos that I didn't know about until he sent us everything. I never once felt that he was in our faces with the camera. He made himself blend in so well and managed to capture every major moment, plus some! Throughout his editing and processing of all the film he was working on he supplied us with tidbit snippit from each part to let us get a glimpse of his work. This was also helpful as we were able to give feedback with Sagi on some of the things that we liked and or wanted to get changed. The feedback we would get back helped us to the video just right for us. The only thing I would have done differently was to have a sit down with my fiancee and then with Sagi as far as what things we would have liked to been filmed, ie certain surroundings, sweeping views of the guests, and particular people/things. There was some shots that we missed that we would have liked to have. The video quality and the scenes that Sagi got for us were very good and the editing was high quality. Sagi was very receptive to all my requests and questions, before and after the wedding! He is really patient, friendly, nice and professional. Leading up to my own nuptials, making sure that I had fantastic photos was so important as I knew these would be what our family and future children would be looking at to remember such a momentous occasion. I had a specific style in mind for the photos...photojournalistic, just catching moments as they happen, as well as getting those more posed shots without it looking too stiff. Photo composition was also important to me, but i didn't want anything too trendy that would look strange 20 years from now. Yair is that perfect mix of classic and modern, beautiful attention to detail and composition without making the photos look too posed or perfect. I think capturing those little imperfections and real-life details is what makes photos unique and truly memorable, and Yair does this beautifully. He also uses top of the line equipment, and tries to use natural light as much as possible. Upon first checking out Yair's photos online, my husband and I were very interested as we loved his style and composition, and his pricing was right in our budget. After meeting Yair, we knew we had our photographer. Yair is fun and conversational, and gives great advice in terms of positioning your face and body to be most flattering (of great importance to brides, and frankly everyone else!). We did our engagement session with Yair and his assistant Sagi (included in the package price), and I'm so thankful that we did. I had anticipated my husband being the high maintenance one on the engagement shoot, but it ended up being me with hair and makeup issues in the wind and sun, and Yair was able to help keep me calm and still got amazingly beautiful shots. This shoot also helped my husband and I get prepared to pose for shots, get good angles, as well as have a good report with Yair. When it came time for the wedding, Yair was a pro! He brought along his assistant Sagi and they got amazing shots all day long. They showed up at the hotel to take photos of us getting ready, and then headed to the church to get some shots before we all showed up. They worked within the Catholic Mission's rules of when and where they can take shots and the photos are so gorgeous! The reception was also a breeze, and Yair was able to wrangle my very large family into some awesome shots we'll have forever, and caught some amazing moments between me and my husband. I cannot say enough great things about Yair and his work. My mother was gushing for days about what a professional he was, and how much fun he was with the guests. And the photos of her and her friends dancing are just proof of this;) Yair was quick to get us our proofs of the wedding photos, even in time for us to have Christmas cards made with the photos, and he even showed different options for photos with different filters. I can't wait to put together the perfect wedding album and cannot recommend Yair enough!

creative, adventurous, and, above all, extremely talented. My husband and I had Yair take both our engagement pictures and wedding pictures. He helped up pick a beautiful site that matched our personalities and gave us suggestions on how to prepare for the shoot (what to wear, what to bring, etc). The day ended up feeling more like a fun day out than a photo shoot. We went to two different locations (even though this may have taken Yair extra time, he knew what would look good and didnt think twice about giving us the extra effort to capture it). Our shoot involved walked around with our dog, sitting and chatting in beautiful locations, and having a picnic. This is exactly what we love to do on weekends and Yair captured beautiful shots of us being us. He gave us just enough direction to get a good shot but did it in a way allowed us to feel natural and for the photos to look un-posed. He even shared a few of the shots with us as we went to make sure we were pleased which, of course, we were!!! The great thing about the shoot (besides the resulting beautiful photos) was that it helped us to get to know Yair and for him to get to know us so by the time the wedding day came, we felt very comfortable with him being at such an intimate event. By the time our wedding rolled around, we had been in communication with Yair several times so I never worried that he was on top of his preparations for our day. Yair has a lot of experience with weddings and it is obvious in the way he helped us to organize our plan for the photography. The timeline he provides to help organize the when's and where's is so detailed it actually helped me to organize my wedding day! It also helped me to feel confident that he was going to be everywhere I wanted him to be. From the moment our wedding day started and Yair arrived, he blended in naturally within every environment. From taking pictures of us getting ready with our bridal party to the last dance on the dance floor, he was there to capture every special moment and every minute detail. We actually had several guests comment on how kind Yair was and how descretely he moved about to captures moments without getting in the way of the moment. Just as before with our engagment shoot, Yair got every shot we wanted and did so in a way that made us feel comfortable and natural. Besides the traditional family and bridal party photos that we wanted, most of his photos were unposed and very much "us." Yair was very efficient and got the photos we wanted in a brief period of time so we could get to the reception and continue the celebration. His speed does not take away from his skill! In addition to working with Yair, we also worked with his videographer, Sagi. I would like to add that we were really happy with the video Sagi put together for us. He is very talented and captured all the right moments. The video he put together was seemless and of amazing quality. If you are working with Yair, I also suggest hiring Sagi. They have a great rythm together and their work styles really complement each other which makes everything that much more efficient and, well, wonderful! We got referred to Yair through a friend, and once I visited his website I knew that he had a very unique style that was unlike anyone else that we had checked out. From the start, Yair has been nothing but the most sincere, benevolent person to work with. He really takes the time to get to know you and your spouse so that you feel comfortable in front of the camera, therefore getting the best possible shots. He is constantly thinking of ways to get the most aesthetic looking pictures by using various lights and angles. We were happy to find out that his package price included an engagement shoot. This was a huge bonus as most places charge a lot extra for this. We were incredible happy with our engagement pictures and astounded by what he had done for our wedding. se to what I wanted, they were all over priced for basic wedding pictures. I finally found Yair Haim Photography through google, went to his site, and I instantly fell in love with his work. His photography looked like something out of a movie! I was sold! I met with him that week, and fell in love with his personality as well! We got the package with the engagement shoot in addition to the day of, which was sooooooo worth it!! Spectacular!! The wedding day was amazing start to finish! I never had to think or worry whether or not he'd get the right shot, or capture the right moment. He seemed to be everywhere at once and with a smile on his face!
