We had the pleasure of working with Kara and the YPB team for our wedding, and we couldn't be happier with the results. From the start, they made the entire process smooth and enjoyable, always empowering us to make our own choices and helping bring our ideas to life. Like so many other reviewers, we are so grateful that we decided to hire YPB as our wedding coordinators. We were considering a slightly less expensive day of coordination only, and are so happy we decided to spend a little extra money to work with YPB for a longer amount of time. We felt like the extra meetings and email reminders were such a great value in addition to the onsite rehearsal and wedding coordination. Our planner Amberly was so supportive and kind throughout the whole process - it was always so nice to get an email from her! And their larger library of tools and resources were helpful to access. They know the PNW market so well and have a plethora of vendor contacts and relationships. We absolutely recommend them!

Shannon Oddo from the Portland team was an absolute DREAM to work with. She’s extremely knowledgeable and experienced with my venue, so was able to quickly answer any question we had during the process! As far as our wedding day itself; it went off perfectly to plan! I trusted her judgement as far as arranging my decor that I brought in, and it looked amazing. The communication between all of my vendors also went smoothly on the day of! I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful wedding, and I have to thank Shannon and the YPB team for helping me achieve that!

I cannot say enough good things about YPB -- they made the daunting process of planning a wedding so much simpler. My husband and I are transplants to the Seattle area and we were so lost on where to even begin planning. YPB was stellar from the very start, from selecting a venue to design and choosing vendors to fulfill our vision. Kara was the absolute best to work with, totally professional and on top of everything. Our friends and family on wedding day agreed -- Kara is the best! I don't know how people plan weddings without YPB, honestly! :-)

Ashley from YPB helped us feel so much more at ease throughout the entire wedding planning process from start to finish! We were starting to feel hopeless with booking some of our final vendors until we found YPB. They provided us with so many resources that came in handy from looking for vouched local vendors to a checklist leading up to the day of the wedding. And we can confidently say we had an amazing wedding beyond our own expectations! That doesn't mean everything went as perfectly as planned the morning of, but all of our worries and anxiety disappeared as soon as our planner Ashley showed up. She and another YPB member was also present until the end of the wedding, letting us have the most fun without worrying about wrapping up the small things at the end of the night. Having YPB helped not only us, but also relieved our friends and family of having to clean up after the wedding which let them have an amazing time too with no major responsibilities. Hiring YPB was one of the best decisions we made in our wedding planning process. Our planner, Ashley, was so helpful from start to finish from ironing out timelines, the best vendor recommendations, and helping to ease all of our anxieties. I felt so confident in all of our decisions, because I had an expert in my inbox to bounce questions off of and to give the best advice I could hope for. We had an offsite ceremony and Ashley helped us to navigate the best timeline and flow of events to make our guests feel comfortable and at ease. On the day of, I did not have to worry about a single thing. Ashley and her assistant were there every step of the way and when we had to move cocktail hour inside the morning of, due to inclement weather, she was so on top of communicating the change with our venue and catering team and making sure that everything was as close to what we imagined as possible. As a type A stresser, I was nervous about not being able to let go of the details on the day of, but she took the reins on my wedding day and allowed me and my husband to live in the moment and enjoy every minute of our day with our friends and family. I was never worried about vendor communication or anything not being executed the way we had envisioned because she was so on top of everything and I felt so confident in her talents and communication from our meetings and emails. 

Choosing to work with Your Perfect Bridesmaid was the first and one of the best decisions we made while planning our wedding. They provided us with tools and resources from the very beginning that helped us stay organized and made each step of the process less intimidating. We worked with Laura McDonough as our lead planner and could not have been happier with our experience. Our wedding day truly would not have been as amazing as it was without Laura. She was organized, communicative, empathetic, and truly understood our vision. Laura consistently went above and beyond making recommendations, making sure we were on track, and making the planning process as stress free as possible. By the end, I can truly say that Laura felt more like a friend than just our planner. I cannot express how impressed I am with Hannah as our day of coordinator. She was calm, informative, helpful, and extremely fun throughout the entire planning process. We were not initially planning to hire a coordinator of any kind, but it was required by our venue- and I am SO glad it was! She thought of things that we would not have considered during the planning process, helped keep us on track and organized and overall helped make the planning process more fun than stressful. She took the time to get to know us as individuals, what we were looking for for our wedding, and helped make really unique suggestions that were tailored to us specifically. She was prepared for anything and everything and was extremely communicative throughout the whole process. On the day of our wedding, we didn't have to worry about a thing. Hannah had everything under control, knew exactly what needed to be done, and took care of EVERYTHING! We only had to focus on our guests and enjoying our day. I cannot recommend Hannah enough. I am going to miss our check in meetings, because she was so fun to work with!

Reflecting now a little over a month after the wedding we are just so grateful to have found YPB. Working with Lexi was such a massive relief all the way through this process. And she was as indispensable on the day as she was throughout all of the stages of planning. We started very early— we weren’t in a hurry. Two years in advance, in fact. Trying to make sure that we could get our top choice of vendors and have a stress-free planning experience. I can’t say that we succeeded in making everything stress-free, but that’s just the nature of planning your wedding. You can’t remove all of the stress, but you can have a friend there to guide you through the process and let you know that you’re on track and that you don’t need to panic. And that’s exactly what Lexi was for us. Lexi guided us through everything from shopping around for venues and vendors, to the design of the venue space, and with the sometimes confusing calls with vendors trying to iron out little details. Thanks to her diligence beforehand and on the day we were able to completely relax and enjoy the moment. And it was all stunning! It’s bittersweet now to say that the day is just a memory, but I’m happy to say that it’s a perfect memory. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you Lexi and YPB. I'm giving 4 stars only because I had such high expectations when I hired YPB. The communication was not quite what I wanted it to be at the beginning, but they were still excellent otherwise. I am an unusual bride in that I did 90% of my planning and booking over a year in advance, so I really needed a lot of help upfront. To be fair to YPB I hired them in the height of wedding season for a wedding that wasn't until the following year, and I had only paid for their most minimal package, the Signature package, which is mainly for day-of coordination and doesn't include much planning assistance, but I knew having access to their BABS portal with all their resources would really help me. Unfortunately when I first contacted them I did not want to pay an extra fee to do a venue search since I already had a few in mind, so they told me to get back to them when I had chosen one and then they would assign my specific coordinator. Well that's exactly what I did, but 2 weeks later when I hadn't heard back from them and still didn't have my coordinator or access to my portal I had to follow up again. I move fast like I said, so in that time I had already bought my dress and booked the band and we were doing tastings with the caterer, so without their help I felt like I was flying blind. After I followed up they apologized and said it was a miscommunication on their end and they got me set up with my coordinator Shauna. Things started to get better from there, although I did still feel like communication was a little slow at first, but again I get it, I wasn't the priority at the time. As we got closer to the wedding Shauna became more focused on us and she was really helpful. We didn't need much since I had already done so much in advance, but she helped me figure out all the last minute details, and she's got this laid-back demeanor that I appreciate. It makes it seem like she has everything under control and she's not stressed so you shouldn't be either. On the day of the wedding she brought together all my mismatched secondhand decorations into something magical and kept the day running smoothly. I do recommend YPB and Shauna, and their Guest Tracker and Budget Tracker tools are extremely helpful.

I truly did not think I needed a wedding planner at all, but boy was a wrong. Once I finally found YPB and Ashley W., I was significantly relieved and felt WAY more organized. Ashley is attentive, responds immediately and answered all my needy bride questions. I truly trusted her with everything and was not disappointed. Everything was beautifully executed. I got so many compliments from family and friends on how professional and great it was to have her there. Future brides - it is MORE THAN worth it to hire a YPB planner! Ashley, we cannot thank you enough! So grateful for you!! ❤️

Going with YPB allowed us to have our perfect wedding. When we signed up for our package, The Signature which is their complete day-of coordination, we were looking for someone to coordinate set up and keep the schedule moving on the day of, but we got so much more than that. From planning meetings, vendor suggestions, and vendor/schedule management, we'd consider the price we paid for the service a complete bargain. We worked with Miranda and from the first call to our big day she was thoughtful, detail-oriented and communicative. If all the lead planners are like Miranda, I'd recommend YPB for whatever your wedding coordinator needs are. Planning: Trying to wed on a budget so we didn't sign up for a planning package, so there was still lots of work we had to do ourselves. BUT leaning on the expertise of YPB was critical to the entire planning process. Early on, the planning docs and contract reviews were incredibly helpful to steer you in the right direction or keep a schedule. There were a few aspects we just weren't thinking of where YPB were able to gently point out and help problem solve and even suggest vendors. We signed nearly a year before our wedding, and the entire process we never felt like they forgot about us. We had regular check-ins that were extremely helpful. But what was most helpful in the planning process were the one-off check ins that weren't scheduled that we needed. For example, Miranda joined vendor calls with us to help with run of show questions. Day Of: We literally didn't have to worry about a thing. Set up looked like it went so smoothly. So a HUGE shoutout to Miranda, our coordinator throughout the process, and Lexi as an extra set of hands and help. Our day was perfect and I couldn't imagine it going that smooth if we had to do all this by ourselves. My recommendation: If you're planning a wedding, I'd say a day-of coordinator is a must and YPB is perfectly set up to help you plan your perfect day! I am a wedding photographer and I have worked with YPB on many occasions. Most recently, I’ve had the pleasure of working with Lexi, Sam and Jenah. Every team member I’ve worked with has been incredibly knowledgeable and very skillful in creating a beautifully styled and curated event. Kim (the owner) has been in business for a very long time and she has created so many masterful tools for herself and her team to use in execution of a wedding day. They are thoughtful in creating a timeline and mood boards and will make certain that you have a team of vendors who can make your wedding dreams come true!
