help my mom was such a relief. She was extremely reliable and could translate wedding speech to everyday people. I can now proudly say I know what uplighting and chivary chairs are. She was phenomenal and took away any extra stress that you just don't want to deal with on your wedding day. This included ordering invitations, mailing, printing, final decisions on flowers, etc. None of us ever knew how time consuming all of this could be and by having Joni we not only saved a lot of time but also were able to allocate the time needed to get things done. When friends and family comment on how everything went so well we pointed out how Joni played such a large part of coordinating every aspect of the wedding. She coordinated the timing of pictures, when family needed to be ready for photos and the ceremony and just added support for everyone involved. m the very beginning. That being said , once we did contract with one another she was totally and completely on board and really assisted me with all of my meeting s with the vendors I had hired. The other thing I realized throughout this process was the importance of having someone who works well with all of the vendors who will be handling the wedding. She was just amazing with everyone she came into contact with from the long distance bride and groom and their family to all of the many personalities that came into play on the actual day of the wedding. The vendors that I ended up contracting with after we began to work together were wonderful and of the highest quality. My daughters wedding was really a destination wedding since the majority of our guests were from out of town. Our weekend required a lot of coordination for not only transporting our guests but also the logistics of getting the bride and groom as well as the entire wedding party dressed and coiffed for pictures and video all of which she managed to pull off effortlessly . My husband and I enjoyed every minute of our children's wedding celebration and the best compliment you give some one is to say I would replicate everything again . Joni is the best.... Hands down

having a destination wedding or not, I highly recommend hiring a wedding planner because it saves so much time and hassle and will let you enjoy the fun of planning a wedding without the stress. The peace of mind that Joni brings is well worth her price (which by the way was extremely reasonable compared to other planners I contacted). We hired Joni 15 months out, and didn’t meet her until a few months before the wedding, and by then she felt like an old friend. For that entire time, we were constantly on her radar and the attention she devoted to us made it seem like we were her only clients. We were extremely happy with all of the vendors she recommended, and being able to trust her referrals instead of researching every vendor myself saved immeasurable time and hassle. And, she doesn’t just make recommendations, but rather listens to what you want and considers your budget and priorities. For example, the florist wasn’t very important to me, so she took charge and negotiated a great deal, coordinated the details I didn’t want to be bothered with, and made sure the flowers and decor turned out beautifully. The day of the wedding, we didn’t have to worry about a thing. She handled everything large and small, from making the call to move inside because of rain (and gracefully handling my disappointment), pinning my dress when it wouldn’t stay bussled, and I’m sure countless other details I wasn’t even aware of. She designed the timeline and made sure everything stayed on track and came together seamlessly. If you are on the fence about whether to hire a planner, go for it, and of course go with Joni!

Joni came into the picture one month before my wedding and she took over for us! She is so organized and so detailed oriented, she thinks of all the smallest important details, and that just makes you feel like everything is going to be ok and she gives you the peace of mind that you need before your wedding. We are very glad we hired her, our only regret is we didn't hire her from the very beginning of our planning. That would have saved us a lot of unecessary stress! She is very responsive through both e-mail and telephone, and was a good, clear communicator. She’s also the type of woman who knows what she’s doing, and gets things done.
