Mirene Sanchez (a Hatha & and Yin Yoga Teacher) and Geoff Hawryluk (Government of Canada) held their wedding in the backyard garden of Geoff's parent's home in Sherwood Park. "When we got engaged we knew it would be a very meaningful and special place for us to invite our two families and friends together for our intimate day," Mirene says. Inspired by their intimate location, the couple chose a garden theme with a soft, romantic color palette of ivory and pink. Unique touches like rhubarb from the garden used to make rhubarb champagne and beers brewed by Geoff added a personal touch to the couple's intimate garden wedding.
