A Backyard Wedding at a Private Residence in Smithfield, Utah
Kambria Elwood (33 and a medical assistant) and Shiloh Peck (36 and a contractor) used to spend a lot of time in Smithfield Canyon, Utah, when they were younger (their love story began when they were teenagers), so they got married in the backyard of their future home there. Just because they celebrated in their backyard doesn’t mean they didn’t dress up. In fact, Shiloh wore a tuxedo and Kambria’s wedding dress was absolutely stunning. She chose a sophisticated lace gown that fit her figure with a Queen Anne neckline and chapel train. Opting out of traditional flowers, succulents were everywhere—a perfect choice for an outdoor wedding in Utah (props to Plant Peddler). Succulents combined to make Kambria’s bouquet, the boutonnieres, and table decorations, and even topped the three-tier wedding cake. A special detail? Since there were a lot of kids at the wedding, Kambria and Shiloh made sure to have treats: snow cones and cotton candy. See the pretty details, captured by Shanda Lynn Call Photography, below.
