The groom's mother served as the officiant at the backyard ceremony. Our ceremony sermon was so personal, endearing and real. It was truly about us as individuals and as a couple, says Krissy.

The flower girls wore gray and pink, and carried flowers that matched the bridesmaid bouquets.
The couple had their invitations custom created based on their color palette of pink, gray and teal.
Fragrant white lilacs, button mums, wax flowers and other blooms were simple yet elegant additions to the bridesmaid bouquets.

Krissy wanted her gown to be classic, retro and simple. “I photographed a bride wearing a Tara LaTour gown and liked how unique it was,” she says. “I contacted the designer, went to her studio, tried on the Diana dress and immediately loved it. And it had pockets!”
