This island wedding took place steps from the waterfront at a family member's residence in Oahu, Hawaii, which Veronica Vasquez (27 and a hair stylist) and Tim Beisner (28 and an AT&T technician) used as inspiration for their beach theme. "Located right on the beach with a huge yard, the peaceful property never really got crowded," Veronica says. "We knew right away that getting married at Tim's family's beach house would be special for us and our guests." Using a tropical palette of coral and teal with accents of gold, Veronica and Tim brought their beach-themed nuptials to life—from the peony, rose and lily flower arrangements to the wedding party's coral dresses and teal ties. The day began on the sandy shores, where Veronica and Tim shared their first kiss at the bamboo arch draped in linens, captured on camera by Creatrix Photography. The party then moved to the tented reception on the property, where dining tables embodied the beachy feel through glass vases filled with sand and seashells. The Perfect Wedding DJs played traditional Hawaiian music while guests enjoyed their a luau-style dinner of kalua pork, but we felt that Veronica and Tim truly saved the best for last with their cake. Seashells and pearls decorated the five-tier teal masterpiece with coral reef designs, filled with pineapple and coconut to represent the day's style, theme and colors. Check out more beach-themed inspirations we loved at this island wedding, below.

Veronica and her bridesmaids held matching white and coral bouquets, filled with roses, lilies and peonies (her favorite flower). "When it came to flowers, I really loved the look of peonies and knew I wanted to include them in our bouquets and centerpieces," Veronica says. "I wasn't too specific with the florals other than requesting the peonies, but I let the florist work her magic and everything came out better than I could imagine."
"I let the bridesmaids choose their own dresses, just as long as they were all the same color of coral," Veronica says. "I wanted the girls to be comfortable and cool, since I knew it was going to be warm." The floor-length coral dresses incorporated a scoop neckline embellished in beads, giving the vibrant look a decorative detail.
The groomsmen received black flasks as a gift form Veronica and Tim, customized with their individual names and the wedding day date at the bottom.
Tim faced one direction as Veronica walked up behind him near the beach waterfront, ready for their first look. Tim wore a light tan suit with a teal tie and pocket square on the wedding day.

Teal cocktail napkins accented with gold text read "Mr. & Mrs. Tim & Veronica Beisner" along with their wedding date. Votive candles surrounded the personalized napkins for guests to grab with their drinks.
Tall circular black-and-white numbers marked each dining table at the tented reception, positioned next to glass containers filled with seashells and sand that fit the beach theme.
A teal piece of ribbon was marked with the wedding date wrapped around silverware, then arranged on top of white square plates at each place setting.
Veronica and Tim stood with their wedding party at the sandy beach in Oahu, Hawaii, with bridesmaids dressed in floor-length coral dresses while groomsmen sported tan suits with teal bow ties. "I wanted the attire for the wedding to be on the more casual and comfortable side, but still dressy enough for a wedding," Veronica says.
Veronica and Tim sat at the sweetheart table covered in white linens, with a "Mr. & Mrs." black flag sign draped across the front. A white and pink blossoming centerpiece decorated the middle of the table.
The teal wedding cake accented with coral reef designs had five tiers, decorated with seashells and beaded accents. Pineapple and coconut frosting covered the spice cake, making it look as tropical as the Oahu, Hawaii, wedding.
