A Black and White Bohemian Wedding at Strongwater Food and Spirits in Columbus, Ohio
Kim Touroo (32 and a photographic stylist) caught the attention of Jordan Salyer (32 and a clinical manager) when he noticed she was a Ryan Adams fan on her Myspace page. Little did they know that someday, they would have their first dance to a Ryan Adams song at their wedding! The couple was visiting family and friends in Atlanta, Georgia and went out to dinner one night. Jordan organized a proposal with her parents and the whole restaurant in on his secret. Kim and Jordan had their wedding at Strongwater Food and Spirits in Columbus, Ohio, an old factory converted into a studio space and restaurant with a modern twist to an industrial feel. Their black and white rustic, bohemian wedding was decorated with roses, hypericum berries and even lavender hanging from the ceiling! The ceremony took place at the venue’s outdoor space, where the couple got married in front of a hanging paper backdrop. The reception was indoors, where guests were seated in white chairs at tables with black and white striped tablecloths. Along with the hanging bunches of lavender, black and white paper lanterns and white painted chandeliers hung from the ceiling. Kim created and collected most the decorations herself, ranging from the white painted vases to the several chalkboard signs and the rose gold vases positioned on wooden slabs.
