Gena Underwood (28) and Chris Hart (28) were engaged after Chris properly asked Gena’s father for his permission to propose. Once her father said yes, Chris started to the plan the proposal that would be occurring in the comfort and intimacy of their own home. One night like any other, Gina was preparing dinner for the two of them and their four-year-old son. As she was doing so, Chris and their son both got down on one knee with the engagement ring that would soon be on Gena’s finger. The couple had their traditional wedding ceremony at Mt. Zion Fellowship in Highland Hills, Ohio. During the ceremony, Gena and Chris jumped over a broom after they both said “I Do,” which was symbolic for sweeping away the past and starting a new life together. Gina wore an ivory strapless wedding dress with a sweetheart neckline complemented by a crystal belt. She accessorized her outfit with a crystal necklace and bracelet, which was Gena’s favorite piece of jewelry that she wore on the wedding day.
