A Bohemian Fall Wedding at Terrain in Glen Mills, Pennsylvania
Cassi Williams (33 and a nanny) and Eric Verosky (34 and works for the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections) wanted to host a one-of-a-kind fete that felt truly their own. “Eric and I agreed that if we were going to have a wedding, we needed to do it on our own terms,” Cassi says. “We wanted our love, our relationship and our life together to shine through.” To celebrate that, the pair chose Terrain, a warm, intimate cafe, and exchanged vows under the venue's existing white arbor, which was adorned with hanging florals and string lights. A large suspended scroll featured hand-written lyrics to Coldplay’s “Yellow,” which played as Cassi walked down the aisle. Cassi carried a loosely gathered assortment of plum, rose and aubergine-hued blooms in her bouquet. “My forearms were sore from carrying it around all day,” she says. Delicate string lights and a show-stopping ceiling installation made from gilded tree branches illuminated the reception. Ivory cable knit runners topped farm tables along with vintage glass vessels and low-lying clusters of kangaroo paw and pampas grass. The bohemian, rustic affair focused on wood details, brass accents and a muted blush palette. In addition to cake, guests snacked on a classic dessert: milk and cookies.
