A Boho-Chic, Natural Wedding at Nestldown in Los Gatos, California

Surrounded by redwood trees and scenic views of the mountains in Los Gatos, California, Nestldown was the perfect location to have this boho-chic, outdoor wedding. “One of the best things about Nestldown is that you could spend all day exploring,” Katy Hankins (28) says of her marriage to Adam Elliott (33 and a firefighter and paramedic). “We knew our guests would have so much fun the entire day, just soaking in the beauty of the place that is truly breathtaking.” Neutral hues mixed with peach and pink made up the palette that flowed throughout the wedding day details—from the bridesmaid dresses in soft pastels to the single peach rose boutonniere accented with succulents and yellow brunia—all captured through the lens of BrittRene Photo. The white picket fence sign that read "Happily ever after begins here" pointed in the direction of the ceremony, which took place in the natural clearing surrounded by the woodland. Bridesmaids stood holding colorful peony arrangements accented with smaller blooms created by the Petal Company, which resembled the flower centerpieces seen at the reception. A wooden window panel displayed peach stationery with each guest name and table number in alphabetical order, guiding loved ones to their seats at dining tables marked with numbers on miniature wooden easels. Our favorite detail had to be Katy's choice in gown, which was an ivory Jim Hjelm dress with a V-neckline and an elegant lace overlay. "I wore a lace wedding gown that I completely fell in love with," Katy says. "I wanted it to be romantic and a little bohemian to fit the outdoor setting."
