Talk about fireworks! Chelsey Bahlmann (31 and a PhD student) and Matt Bollinger's (30 and a private banker) stunning Fourth of July wedding took patriotic to a new level. We loved the red, white and blue palette mixed with a stunning overgrown garden vibe from the textured florals, arranged by Branch Design Studio. Not wanting their palette to be too bold, they mixed in subtle touches of blush to each arrangement, which added plenty of romance to the wedding at Creek Club at I'On in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. Some patriotic details were more obvious, such as Matt's bow tie, the flasks given to the groomsmen and Chelsey and Matt's recessional to "American Girl." Other accents, such as the striped linens at the reception, Chelsey's firework earrings and the on-palette stationery were a little more subtle. Although Chelsey and Matt planned all the details themselves, they enlisted the help of Ashley from Posh Petals and Pearls. "I'm so happy I hired a day-of planner so that my family could relax and enjoy the wedding day instead of worrying about the details." There's so much to love about this true American-inspired wedding. See all our favorite parts, beautifully captured by Dana Cubbage Weddings, below.

The invitations were from Minted. They matched the Fourth of July-inspired palette and also the stunning flowers, which brought an overgrown garden twist to the outdoor wedding at Creek Club at I'On in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina.
Since Chelsey loves flowers, she decided to forgo a traditional veil and wear a stunning, lush flower crown. Gorgeously arranged by Branch Design Studio, the flowers included ranunculus, thistle, scabiosa and lots of leaves to go with the Fourth of July theme while still adding plenty of romance to the wedding.
Since Chelsey and Matt got married outside in July in South Carolina, Chelsey wanted a light, breezy dress. She found a stunning white chiffon Theia Couture gown at Bleu Belle Bridal. She loved the light fabric and Grecian vibe with its halter neckline.

Matt wore a patriotic bow tie from Collared Greens and flag-inspired socks, and even carried a good ole American flask. The groomsmen got matching flasks and socks too, for a holiday-appropriate gift.

Chelsey had two bridesmaids stand with her during the nuptials. Her sister-in-law wore a strapless blue dress from J.Crew, and her sister wore a one-shoulder blue dress by Dessy since she was pregnant. Both ladies completed their look with matching statement necklaces from Loft. The groomsmen also wore blue with patriotic bow ties.

Chelsey and Matt wanted to have the best of both worlds with their venue: A place that had quintessential Southern charm with waterfront options and plenty of oak trees for the ceremony and an indoor space that was air-conditioned for the July reception in South Carolina.
Chelsey assembled all the ceremony programs herself using the same art from the invitation suite (gorgeously done by Minted). The red bows were the perfect touch to tie it all together.

In lieu of a wedding cake, Chelsey and Matt served an assortment of pies and tarts for their Fourth of July fete.
"Our first-dance song was 'Crazy Love' by Van Morrison, which was played by our bluegrass band, the Cattle in the Cane," Chelsey says. "We chose this song because when we were first dating that song came on the radio and Matt said it reminded him of me and our love."
