A Bold, Fourth of July Wedding at Creek Club at I'On in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina
Talk about fireworks! Chelsey Bahlmann (31 and a PhD student) and Matt Bollinger's (30 and a private banker) stunning Fourth of July wedding took patriotic to a new level. We loved the red, white and blue palette mixed with a stunning overgrown garden vibe from the textured florals, arranged by Branch Design Studio. Not wanting their palette to be too bold, they mixed in subtle touches of blush to each arrangement, which added plenty of romance to the wedding at Creek Club at I'On in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. Some patriotic details were more obvious, such as Matt's bow tie, the flasks given to the groomsmen and Chelsey and Matt's recessional to "American Girl." Other accents, such as the striped linens at the reception, Chelsey's firework earrings and the on-palette stationery were a little more subtle. Although Chelsey and Matt planned all the details themselves, they enlisted the help of Ashley from Posh Petals and Pearls. "I'm so happy I hired a day-of planner so that my family could relax and enjoy the wedding day instead of worrying about the details." There's so much to love about this true American-inspired wedding. See all our favorite parts, beautifully captured by Dana Cubbage Weddings, below.
