Erin and Andrew let the absence of a theme be the theme of their wedding. Instead, they concentrated on highlighting the beauty of their ranch venue with organic blues, greens and lush florals.

Vintage postcards from hill country destinations added a local vibe to the rustic reception decor.
Guest tables were decorated simply with clusters of candles and fragrant dried lavender.
The couple added DIY touches (a hand-painted border here, embossing there) to all of their custom stationery, which was printed on brown kraft paper. “Nothing was super-matchy-matchy, but it all had the same feel,” says Erin.
At the reception, a chandelier of hanging orchids and branches dangled just inches above the head table—a rustic-yet-elegant addition.
Brown kraft paper thank you notes sat at each place setting. The boarder along the outside of the text was a custom design that Erin and Andrew hand-painted for a personal touch.
The ceremony was held in front of a picturesque overlook with views of the rolling hills. We wanted the location to speak for itself, so flowers were kept to a minimum and the aisle was lined with green garland, says Erin.
Baskets filled with lavender, blue and white blooms sat atop a burlap tablecloth next to a rustic stone wall.
The couple loves hill country and it was the area where they took their very first getaway together, so when they found Boot Ranch they knew they'd stumbled upon the perfect venue.
Everyone mingled outside under cafe lights as they sipped on champagne cocktails from old-fashioned milk bottles.
Colorful arrangements of hydrangeas, stock, garden roses and thistle sat on rustic burlap tablecloths.
The simple, three-tier cake was iced with vanilla buttercream and topped with fresh flowers.
Erin slipped into a more casual, Empire-waist gown to beat the heat during the early summer celebration.
Before the reception started, the couple and their guests lit Chinese wish lanterns and watched as they floated into the night sky.
