A Bright, Bohemian Hill Country Wedding at Prospect House in Dripping Springs, Texas

Amber Lindeman (32 and a behavior analyst) and Cassie Braun (30 and a sales representative) hosted a chic affair with bohemian accents including Aztec prints, natural wood and gold geometric candles.

A modern white altar framed the couple and the ceremony’s pastoral backdrop, while kilim rugs lined the aisle. To keep off the winter chill—it was only 50 degrees out—guests snuggled in wool blankets as Amber and Cassie exchanged vows.

Cassie’s uncle officiated the couple’s wedding, and opened the ceremony with a quote from The Princess Bride.

It was a last-minute decision to hang a blue, teal and gold fabric backdrop at the reception, but it ended up being the focal point of the dance floor.

The floral arrangements included touches of blue and orange—a nod to Amber’s high school colors.

Amber’s “spirit animal” is an elephant, and it was the couple’s original plan to parasail into the wedding. With these things in mind, one of the two cake toppers was of two elephants (one in a wedding dress, and one in a pantsuit) parasailing on top of the four-tier coconut-lime-cream cake.
