A Bright Red, Yellow and White Wedding at Casa Lantana in Brandon, Florida

Casa Lantana’s oak trees, lush grounds and horses provide a picturesque backdrop for any outdoor wedding. When Megan Ehrhardt (25 and a teacher) and Mike Esposita (28 and a guidance counselor) started looking for a venue, they knew this would be the one for those reasons and a few others. “The venue reflected both of our styles as a couple. I grew up with horses and spent many days at the barn,” Megan says. "Mike also enjoys the outdoors.” On their wedding day, That's A Pretty Picture Photography captured every detail, as red and yellow flower petals lined the ceremony aisle toward a grand oak tree. A dozen white pomanders were suspended from its branches, as mason jars of baby’s breath accented each row of white chairs. Megan walked past each arrangement and made her entrance in a white trumpet-style wedding dress with sweet lace detailing. Mike waited in a formal black tuxedo that stood out against the natural setting. After the ceremony, Megan and Mike took a ride in a horse-drawn carriage while their guests started the outdoor reception. White lanterns surrounded by a halo of red, yellow and white served as the centerpieces as a sweet “Mr. & Mrs.” banner in burlap and lace decorated the sweetheart table. Another standout detail was the couple’s wedding cake. Red and silver ribbon and rhinestone trim surrounded the base of each tier as red cake flowers added a bit more color. All enjoyed a slice and danced to music from a DJ under green lighting before they ended the night with a sparkler exit.
