A Bright Summer Wedding at Vassar College's Chapel in Poughkeepsie, New York

Nicole Bonelli (32 and a daycare director) and Benjamin Dubinski (32 and a financial advisor) were friends throughout high school, but they didn't reconnect until they both signed up to plan their ten-year reunion. They quickly caught up and started meeting outside of the planning meetings until it was clear that they had a strong romantic connection. One day, when Nicole was sick in bed, Ben brought her tea in a chalkboard mug with "Will you marry me?" written across the front. Needless to say, she started feeling better almost immediately. As they both have a deep connection to Vassar College (Nicole works their and Ben practically grew up there), it made perfect sense for them to hold their wedding ceremony in the campus' chapel in Poughkeepsie, New York. Afterwards, they traveled to Dutchess Manor, a historic mansion on the Hudson River in Beacon, New York, for their wedding reception. The couple decided on a bright color scheme of hot pink, orange, and green to match their vibrant personalities. Whimsical patterned pinwheels served as escort cards, and paper fortune tellers replaced traditional menus. Nicole helped to design all of the wedding stationary with her friend Kari Giordano of Sundae Graphics. At the cocktail hour, guests enjoyed a raw bar and signature cocktails white listening to a string quartet. After dinner, they ate wedding cake and a custom-made wedding ice cream flavor from Moo Moo's Creamery in Cold Spring, New York. Guests took photos with silly hats in a damask photo booth and went home with boxes of gourmet popcorn for a late night snack.
