A Caribbean Wedding at Blue Waters Resort and Spa in Saint John, Antigua

Tahirah Silver (33 and a legal worker) and Michael Sharpe (32 and a golf course manager) wanted their wedding to reflect their fun loving, laid-back style, so the couple headed south to the blue waters of the Caribbean for a destination affair. "We wanted the primary focus of our destination wedding to be the scenery and the laid back feel of the island," Tahirah says. Using  shades of purple, gray, and white, the couple accented the natural, beautiful scenery of their ceremony under a gazebo overlooking the water. Tahirah and her bridesmaids carried bright pink and purple rose bouquets, which matched the asymmetrical violet dresses the bridesmaids wore. After the ceremony, a steel drum band played Caribbean music on the cliff, while guests enjoyed passed hors d'oeuvres for the cocktail hour, the the group hit the dance floor at the resort's open-air restaurant.
