A Casual, Rustic Wedding at Scribner Bend Vineyards in Sacramento, California

Bre Baszler (29 and a photographer) and Scott Meyer (35 and Vice President at Community Bank) grew up in the same small town in Lodi, California. They always would randomly bump into each other out at the bar, and one night Scott noticed Bre was upset as she was outside talking on the phone. Scott picked Bre up and brought her back into the bar, literally sweeping her off her feet! One afternoon, the couple was meeting a friend at an outdoor location where they were going to take pictures. Once Bre arrived, she noticed Scott standing on a small bridge with a brunch table set up behind him. Scott proposed that day with their friend there to capture all of the moments. The couple got right to planning their wedding that happened eight months after they were engaged. The wedding took place at Scribner Bend Vineyards with a ceremony and reception space surrounded by grapevines. Invitations to the casual, vineyard wedding were on simple white stationary with coral ombre, which accented three farm styled tables were decorated with wood flower box centerpieces made by Bre’s father. Instead of having a cake, the couple decided on having a local ice cream vendor come and serve candied walnut maple ice cream, champagne sorbet and mint chocolate chip ice cream.
