A Charming Barn Wedding at The Enchanted Barn in Hillsdale, Wisconsin

Erin (24 and an events manager) and Zach (24 and a logistics manager) met their sophomore year of high school when they were placed in the same Spanish class. They bonded instantly and talked frequently, but Zach still needed to ask her out twice before she agreed. After several years of dating, Zach decided it was the right time to propose, so he surprised Erin with tickets to see her favorite artist, Luke Bryan, in concert. In the middle of show, Zach asked someone in the audience to take their picture, and he got down on one knee to pop the question. They were in such a flurry of celebration that they even got to go up to the stage and meet Luke Bryan for a personal congratulations! While researching venues for a friend's wedding several years back, Erin came across The Enchanted Barn in Hillsdale, Wisconsin and saved it in her memory for her own future wedding. When they went to see the venue in person, she and Zach immediately fell in love with it's rustic country aesthetic and knew it would go perfectly for the rest of their wedding vision. With a color scheme of coral-pink, blush, and nude, the barn wedding was expertly decorated with romantic charm. Experienced in event planning, Erin handmade many of the wedding details, including the programs, escort cards, and table decor, while Zach built the corn hole games and guest board (which they kept as a special wedding memento). Many of the other elements, like the invitations and bridesmaid dresses, were purchased from Etsy for a personal, homemade feel. For extra amusement during the reception, guests were invited to stand and sing a song in order for the couple to kiss. Most fittingly of all, guests could take photos in a Luke Bryan photo booth to honor the artist who helped bring the couple's engagement to fruition.

On of the best parts of throwing a wedding at The Enchanted Barn was that Erin and Zach could invite up to 20 members of their wedding party to sleep over at the Grand Shanty, a house on the property where guests can stay after the reception without worrying about transportation.

Erin's bridesmaids were able to pick any style coral-pink chiffon dress on RenzRags's Etsy store. They complemented their dresses with white and blush pink bouquets of hydrangeas, garden roses, ranunculus, dusty miller, poppy blooms, and baby's breath.
Coral-Pink Bridesmaids and Gray Groom at Enchanted Barn Wedding
Erin wore her hair in a low, parted updo, which she accessorized with an elbow-length veil and minimal jewelry. For an extra pop of color, she wore pale pink lipstick to match her bridesmaids and bridal bouquet.
Erin's strapless, lace, fit and flare wedding dress had a small cluster of elegant lace flowers on the side that fell over her gray bridal sash to stand out from the fabric of the dress.
Inside the barn, rectangular tables were covered with an assortment of centerpieces, including wine bottle table numbers, tall vases with long stem blush roses, glass jars from Erin's grandfather, and small handmade boxes with arrangements of white hydrangea. After dinner and dessert, guests were additionally treated with lane night pizza, s'mores, and a popcorn bar!
A tremendous dessert table served amaretto almond cake pops, German chocolate and raspberry shooters, Baileys and and raspberry chocolate cups, raspberry mousse martinis, chocolate raspberry brownies, and an assortment of flavorful cupcakes, all of which the 150 guests snatched up almost immediately.
Throughout the wedding, guests were kept thoroughly entertained with corn hole and Jenga, a Luke Bryan photo booth (for the bride's favorite musician), and a challenge to perform a live song at the reception to get the bride and groom to kiss.
