For their atypical destination wedding, Dawnyelle Prince (35 and an instructional math coach) and Barry Funches (39 and a lead industrial engineer) hosted a bed-and-breakfast wedding in Stockton, New Jersey, a calm getaway from the bustle of New York City. Fusing Woolverton Inn's country aesthetic—including green lawns, livestock and trees—with a sleek white reception palette, the couple designed a “country wedding for city slickers," as Dawnyelle called it. During their three-month planning period, the couple created a relaxed and whimsical environment with ivory and hints of gold in the reception tent. Blush and champagne orchids and roses comprised bouquets and centerpieces. Paired with the ivory and gold linens and napkins, the tented reception was elegant with the right touch of country casual. —Allie Volpe

The first overnight trip Dawnyelle and Barry took as a couple was to Woolverton Inn in Stockton, New Jersey. The 10-acre country estate features a quaint inn with porches and sprawling lawns.
Dawnyelle's ring is white gold, which Barry helped design. "When I designed the ring, I worked from the shape of the stone and had the jeweler use a combination of ideas to formulate the ring," he said. "It’s cool to know that I put a little more effort and thought into designing a ring that Dawnyelle will wear for years to come."
Dawnyelle wore a slim sheath-style Sophia Tolli dress that was adorned in tulle and crystal hand-beaded lace appliques. The sweetheart neckline had matching lace shoulder straps that continued into a dramatic plunging keyhole back. Her accessories included a thin crystal belt.
Barry wore a navy Burberry tuxedo with satin lapels paired with an Eton formal shirt with a plisse front. To top the look, he wore a Thomas Pink navy bow tie and a white pocket square.
Dawnyelle and Barry wanted to take part in the tradition of jumping the broom. Barry's mother designed the broom, the handle was wrapped with ivory and blue ribbon and the bristles were decorated with flowers and navy blue ribbon.
Inside the reception tent at Woolverton Inn in Stockton, New Jersey, rows of string lights added whimsical ambiance. A number of chandeliers ran along the center of the tent and were decorated with ivy.
To add to the country-meets-city theme, Dawnyelle and Barry gave their guests personalized jars of jam with biscuits.
Dawnyelle and Barry's lemon and vanilla cake was iced with buttercream frosting. Fresh blush roses adorned the confection.
Reception centerpieces alternated between tall and short floral orchid centerpieces, which included blush roses. Tall glass vases were filled with floating flowers.
