Nicole Calta (28 and a hairstylist) and Daniel Abele (29 and a construction project manager) were influenced by Nicole’s intricately beaded sheath to create a modern art deco theme.  A pianist performed “Chapel of Love” during Nicole and Daniel’s ceremony on Excelsior's open-air terrace beneath a verdant wall covered in living greenery. The celebration that followed included a Tuscan-inspired cocktail hour, tunes from a nine-piece band and iced treats from a pop-up dessert stand. “Our caterer had the awesome idea to pass out ice cream sandwiches on the dance floor,” Nicole says.

Tablescapes featured loose arrangements of blush and green florals that popped against gold sequined linens. A gilded cake stand showcased the couple’s three-tier confection, which was made from a mix of vanilla, red raspberry and chocolate ganache flavors. The couple even commissioned a friend to create a custom map of Lancaster to help guide guests to their favorite local haunts.
