Elizabeth Seasholtz (29 and a digital editor) and Ryan Olech (29 and a senior audit consultant) say choosing to get married at Aldie Mansion was an easy decision. "It was important to me to have our wedding somewhere that reflected my love of art and history," Liz says. "Aldie Mansion is a timeless and elegant building, and I knew it would be the perfect backdrop for our wedding." Liz and Ryan chose a soft, garden-inspired palette to decorate their spring celebration, with shades of blush, peach, ivory, coral and green. The invites set the tone for their romantic decor, featuring a floral watercolor border that wreathed the script. Liz's bridesmaids wore coral dresses with lace overlay and carried bouquets of ivory peonies and greenery. Liz herself wore a lace wedding dress with off-shoulder sleeves and carried a loose ivory, blush and peach bouquet with greenery. The reception took place in the ballroom at Aldie Mansion in Doylestown, Pennsylvania, and the space was arranged with sage dining tables and chiavari chairs. Reception tables were decorated with cascading blush and ivory floral arrangements alongside candelabras and art-deco-style table numbers. As a nod to their home in North Carolina, Liz and Ryan gave their guests bottles of Southern-style barbecue as wedding favors. And they served Southern comfort foods at their cocktail hour, like sweet tea, barbecue and pulled pork. Danielle Coons captured all the pretty details from the day.
