A Chic Garden Wedding at Barnsley Resort in Adairsville, Georgia

Sequined linens, beaded bridesmaid dresses and tufted lounge vignettes lent a sophisticated touch to Courtney Black (27 and a patient coordinator) and Clayton Goodore’s (27 and an account manager) posh garden gathering.

“We booked the resort because it was breathtaking, and the location allowed for our guests to stay on-site the entire weekend,” Courtney says of their English-inspired setting. A majestic oak tree set the scene for the couple’s “I dos” in a meadow decorated with white wood accents and lush garlands.

A lace-trimmed veil and jeweled hair clip were all Courtney needed to complement her strapless lace sheath.

Menu highlights included a strawberry-filled cake covered with sweet buttercream and Southern-inspired fare in the form of barbecue hush puppies and macaroni and cheese. Once the reception was in full swing, partygoers took a brief break from dancing to indulge in a late-night spread of chicken sandwiches and ice cream.

Courtney clutched an arrangement of snapdragons, roses, thistle and peonies.

Mercury glass votives and textured linens topped dining tables, while glass terrariums and greenery came together to form a showstopping chandelier. During their grand exit in a vintage Mercedes-Benz, the newlyweds surprised family and friends with a fireworks show to signal the end of the evening.
