It was a three-hour drive that kept Ashley Grech (30, Interior Designer) and Sean Grech (31, Lineman) apart for three years. “We met at a local bar in Chico, CA called Riley's,” explained Ashley. Their friends were playing matchmaker and brought Sean into town to meet Ashley and the two instantly knew there was a connection, but the distance was too much. It wasn’t until Ashley was able to make the move from Chico, CA to San Francisco, CA the two were finally re-united. “We’ve been together ever since,” said Ashley. Then on a trip to Monterery, CA Sean proposed to Ashley on Lover Point. “Its a beautiful rocky area where you can walk out onto the rocks and watch the waves crash in, said Ashley. “I wish I could remember everything that he said. I think we were both on a high of excitement mixed in with a bit of nervousness.”When it came time to picking the venue, Ashley and Sean knew they wanted something vintage and romantic with a modern twist. They chose The Inn at Park Winters in Winters, CA. “Our venue choice spoke to us perfectly, a little country, a little luxury, combined with the love for vintage design,” said Ashley. “We chose this location because we wanted an outdoor wedding and the grounds were just beautiful, plus we liked the idea of a weekend stay versus a one day event and then it’s over.” The entire event and all the little details reflected both Ashley and Sean as a couple. “We made most choices together,” said Ashely. “And some choices were made by me when Sean was exhausted with wedding talk.”

Bride Getting Ready in Pink and Black Robe
"I wanted my dress to be a statement piece in itself. I chose a strapless Mermaid gown that had feather trim and lace overlay. The fanned portion was tulle with a chiffon overlay. It fit like a glove and it wasn't practical!"
The bride wore Badgley Mischka royal blue, peek-a-boo heels with an art deco embellishment for her "something blue."
"I paired my dress with a statement necklace and kept the rest of my jewelry very simple. I was honored to wear my late grandmothers diamond watch and my late father's wedding ring was tied around my bouquet."
"The flowers were one of my favorite parts, they were just so beautiful and our florist nailed the style I was going for. Blush peonies, Queen Anne lace, carnations, hydrangeas and roses were used for bouquets and arrangements."
"Bridesmaids wore floor length blush chiffon dresses with a rushed bodice and sweetheart neckline. Each bridesmaid wore a pearl necklace."
"Groomsmen wore light grey traditional tux's. Sean's tie was a light grey vintage stripe and the groomsmen wore dark grey vintage stripe ties."
Outdoor Recession
"Sean actually found the location and sent me the link knowing that I would love it. We chose this location because we wanted an outdoor wedding and the grounds were just beautiful."
"The venue helped with the inspiration because it was the perfect backdrop/setting, but I also turned to Pinterest for some inspiration and used it to stay structured within the style."
"The theme/style for our wedding was vintage/romantic, of course with touch of modern with soft blushes, whites and silvery treys."

Bride and Groom First Dance with Band
"Our cocktail hour was by the pool area. For a summer day, it was the perfect backdrop. We created a bar menu that had our favorite drinks and supplied beer and sprits for the entire evening."
