Believe it or not, but Sara Kutyla (27, accountant) and Rob Reissig (26, accountant) met through a mutual friend during a game of miniature golf! After an equally adorable proposal three and a half years later (Rob was so nervous he couldn't stick to his original plan!) the couple chose Hartford's The Gershon Fox Ballroom for their wedding day. Fall favorites like apple cinnamon donuts and cider along with warm shades of orange, yellow and red brought life to the classic venue. Sara and Rob planned a day full of personal details, from their entrance to the theme song of their favorite TV show, "The Big Bang Theory" to their chocolate golf ball favors.

"We absolutely fell in love with look and feel of Marquee-Gershon Fox Ballroom," says Sara. "We really liked the fact that there were different areas of the building for different parts of our wedding. We had the ceremony in the atrium, the cocktail hour upstairs in the mezzanine, and then dinner and dancing in the ballroom. The entire place has an old school, classy feel which fit right in with our style!"

A subtle apple motif—which extended to the apple cinnamon donuts served during dessert—was inspired by Sara and Rob's fall wedding date and Sara's love for all things apple.
