This Ohio State University couple showed their school spirit by having their wedding ceremony in the same city where they met and fell in love. Elon Cousino (30 and a student) and Justin Cousino (30 and a lawyer) wanted to have a classic, elegant wedding decked out in a color palette of light pink and gray, perfectly reflected within the wedding party attire of blush knee-length dresses and classic gray tuxedos. While Justin wore a light gray suit that blended with the color palette, Elon stood out with her ivory wedding dress with a layered striped skirt and laced tulle underneath, designed by Hayley Paige. Their ceremony took place at the Columbus Museum of Art in Columbus, Ohio, with a high ceiling made of glass that gave off the vibe of being outdoors, rain or shine (luckily for the couple, since it did rain). The reception was at New Albany Country Club in New Albany, Ohio, which provided an elegant ambience through the crystal hanging chandeliers, draped curtains over large windows and old-fashioned wallpaper decorating the space, all captured by Style & Story Creative. The four-tier ivory wedding cake was both simple and beautiful, with a choppy ruffled iced pattern decorating each layer that was accented with pink roses. The couple had their cake, and with it looking as tasty as it did, we hope they got to eat it too. “Sarah at The End Dessert Company uses organic ingredients to make the most delicious cake,” the couple says. “We included two layers of dark chocolate cake with fresh strawberry whipped buttercream, one layer of strawberry cake with fresh strawberry buttercream and one layer of orange cake with fresh lemon curd and vanilla buttercream.”

The wedding invitations were printed on white stationery with gray lettering, sealed in a white envelope with a pink personalized wax stamp. "We wanted our invitations to evoke an old-world classic look with embossed gray script lettering that included a personalized wax seal with our last name initial to enclose the main invitation," the couple says.
Elon found a strapless ivory wedding dress with a sweetheart neckline in a striped pattern going all the way down the layered ball gown skirt, which she fell in love with and wore for the wedding. "All the dresses she tried on were amazing, but the one that stood out was definitely the striped gown from Hayley Paige," the couple says. "She knew it was the one!"

Justin stood at the front of the altar when Elon walked into the ceremony space, and his mouth dropped at the first look of his bride. Justin wore a light gray suit by American Commodore Tuxedo with an ivory silk tie that matched Elon's wedding dress. The groomsmen matched Justin, wearing the same-colored suit and tie.
Elon entered the ceremony through deep red draped curtains on her father's arm, which took place inside the Columbus Museum of Art in Columbus, Ohio. Elon was walked down the aisle in her ivory strapless wedding dress designed by Hayley Paige, complemented by her traditional ivory tulle veil in her long hairstyle.
Elon and Justin stood at the altar surrounded by their wedding party during their ceremony, which took place at the Columbus Museum of Art in Columbus, Ohio. "The glass ceiling of the museum provided us with a feel of being outdoors without having to worry about rain," the couple says. "It turned out to be a great decision as it rained up until our ceremony that day."
Elon stood in her ivory wedding dress with a sweetheart neckline next to her bridesmaids, who wore light pink dresses in the same style. "For the bridesmaids, we wanted a classy feel," the couple says. "We chose a Jenny Yoo gown with classic lines in a soft pink."
Elon and Justin had their first dance in front of all their friends and family inside the New Albany Country Club in New Albany, Ohio. As the couple danced underneath the elegant hanging chandelier, Elon's traditional ivory tulle veil swayed from side to side, which was designed by Justine M Couture from Ivy Bridal Studio.
The ivory wedding cake stood four tiers high, covered in textured buttercream frosting. The cake was made out of fresh, organic ingredients picked out by Elon herself, created by The End Dessert Company. Two layers of the cake were dark chocolate with strawberry whipped buttercream, one layer was strawberry cake with matching buttercream, and the final layer was an orange cake with fresh lemon curd and vanilla buttercream.
