A Classic Fall Wedding at Rust Manor House in Leesburg, Virginia

Katie Farwell (26 and an operations manager) and Joe Scott (25 and a project manager) knew they wanted their wedding in the fall. "It's Virginia. How could it not be a fall wedding? I knew I could count on nature to take its course and decorate the space in its own colors," Katie says. A palette of taupe, gold and champagne brought out the classic elegance of the wedding venue: Rust Manor House in Leesburg, Virginia. After an outdoor ceremony, and a cocktail hour around the property with signature fall appetizers (like pumpkin soup and roasted lamb), guests headed indoors for the reception. "My favorite thing was probably our tables," Katie says of the round tables draped with gold and champagne linens and gold chargers, with custom-made menus and hydrangea and rose flower arrangements surrounded by small candle votives as centerpieces.
