A Classic, Interfaith Wedding at Pleasantdale Chateau in West Orange, New Jersey

Amanda Turner (26, an accountant) and Noel Joseph (27, a sales account manager) created an air of simple elegance for their Hindu-Christian wedding thanks to a classic color palette of white and gold. The couple reflected both of their cultures throughout the day, which culminated in a wardrobe change during the reception when they both returned to the party in traditional Indian wedding attire. Amanda and Noel set the tone for their elegant fusion wedding with a interfaith wedding ceremony that included a number of references to both cultures. The theme continued with the bridesmaids in sapphire blue lenghas and henna and a chicken tikka masala option during dinner. Even the wedding cake—a unique half-white-half chocolate confection—nodded to the union of their two cultures.
