Jennifer Shaffer (26, pharmacist) and Jonathan Santavy (25, international sales) became friends towards the end of high school and remained close throughout college. When both of them moved back to their hometowns after college, they began dating. Jonathan proposed to Jennifer after a long walk around Pittsburgh, in the hallway of the home he bought for them to share. The couple had a traditional ceremony at Our Lady of Grace Church in Greensburg, Pennsylvania, after which they celebrated their vows with family and friends at Di Salvo’s Station Restaurant. This venue is an Italian restaurant located in a historic train station in Latrobe, Pennsylvania. To incorporate the train station into their wedding theme, Jennifer and Jonathan designed their escort cards to look like train tickets and signs throughout the wedding were journey themed. They kept their wedding styles classic with a muted color palette of soft blush, peach and ivory with gold accents. Jonathan and the groomsmen wore traditional black tuxedos and Jonathan's lace pocket square matched the venetian lace overlay on Jennifer's A-line wedding dress by Justin Alexander. The bridesmaids wore champagne colored satin dresses and carried bouquets of pink and white roses with baby's breath. The station-turned-restaurant had plenty of room for guests to dine, dance and enjoy drinks at the train car bar. Jennifer and Jonathan's intimate restaurant wedding was historic and timeless.

The classic gold invitations were provided by RSVP Greensburg, a local invitation designer near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
