A Classic, Romantic Wedding at Castle Farms in Charlevoix, Michigan
Desiree Kapp (28 and a nursing student) and Matthew Trevino (24 and an instrumentation and controls technician) held a classic, romantic wedding, with a color palette of coral and ivory. Desiree's maid of honor suggested the coral color, and she fell in love with it, using it throughout the decor, wedding looks, and bouquets. The bridal bouquet was big and romantic, filled with ivory and coral roses, hydrangeas, ranunculuses, rice flowers and peonies, which complemented Desiree's gorgeous Mori Lee ball gown perfectly. The bridesmaids carried small white bouquets which paired with their coral dresses nicely. The couple exchanged their vows outdoors, in the King's Courtyard, surrounded by stone walls and beautiful landscaping; a large cursive "T" made of white rose petals decorated the aisle. The reception was held indoors in the Knight's Castle, which had beautiful arches, vaulted ceilings, and exposed wooden beams. The tables were covered with coral satin linens, with crystal decorated candelabras and bunches of hydrangeas in square vases used as romantic centerpieces.
