A Classic, Romantic Wedding at Denver Botanic Gardens in Denver, Colorado

Tiffany Tello (29 and a resident physician in dermatology) and Peter Moore (29 and a resident physician in internal medicine) met on their first day of medical school and instantly became friends. They have a shared love for skiing and their first date was even to see a ski movie. On a month long trip through Spain, Tiffany and Peter arrived in Barcelona where Peter planned to propose. At the center of a labyrinth in the Jardin del Laberint D'Horta, an old garden dedicated to love, Peter asked Tiffany to marry him. They had their wedding at the Denver Botanic Gardens in Denver, CO where the gardens were reminiscent of their proposal in Spain. "It was simple yet elegant with incredible natural beauty," Tiffany says. The ceremony was outside with a beautiful natural backdrop while the reception was indoors with a romantic setting. Bouquets and boutonnieres were made from garden roses and succulents and inspired the color palette of orange and green with gold accents. "We have succulents scattered around our home and thought their resilience and longevity were perfect to integrate into our wedding," Tiffany says. The reception decor was warm and elegant with gold accent lighting. Centerpieces were either garden rose and hydrangea arrangements or topiary trees keeping with the garden setting of the wedding. Following their dutch heritage, Tiffany and Pete gave their guests tulip bulbs as wedding favors. After a romantic proposal in a garden in Barcelona, Tiffany and Peter created a beautiful, garden wedding they could share with their family and friends.
