Enter the Vintage Estate in Yountville, California, and bear witness to the brick accents, intricate wood details and lush garden landscaping that characterizes the outdoors space. Breanna Haywood (27 and a librarian) and Alex Feliciano (28 and a teacher) had their classic rustic wedding with a modern twist at the historic venue, partially because Breanna had a personal connection to the winery; her ancestors helped revitalize the venue in the middle of the 19th century. Jen Philips Photography captured the palette of purples and grays that was incorporated into much of the day's details—from the lush bridal bouquet to the floor-length chiffon bridesmaid dresses. The invitations reflected the hues as well, with purple and gray designs printed on white stationery that gave guests a glimpse into the wedding day look. Caitlin Arnold Weddings and Events helped plan the outdoor ceremony on the pavilion, where the brick aisle led to the wooden pergola accented in ivy vines. Flower Designs by Karen Brown created purple and pink flower arrangements of dahlias and calla lilies that lined the aisle, which matched Breanna’s bouquet of purple calla lilies and orchids accented with greenery. The reception took place on the adjacent lawn, where seating assignments were marked with names on kraft paper next to menu cards wrapped in purple napkins. We fell head over heels for Breanna's ivory wedding dress designed by Galina Signature, with an illusion neckline trimmed with a leaf pattern that had a trumpet-style silhouette accented with lace. "I chose this gown because I wanted to achieve a classy, sophisticated, vintage look," Breanna says. "I wanted to showcase the beautiful gown as well, so I kept my accessories minimal with diamond studs and a small birdcage veil."

The wedding invitations embodied the day's palette perfectly, printed on white stationery with purple and gray designs accenting the pages in a modern-styled font.

White escort cards were designed as card catalogues, arranged in rows and placed inside wooden drawers. The rustic card holder was topped with a black-and-white sign that read “The Felicianos.”
All the bridesmaids followed the palette and wore plum-purple knee-length dresses with a deep V-neckline. They held their bouquets filled with stock, calla lilies and dahlias accented with hypericum berries and dusty miller.
Alex wore a classic gray suit designed by Men’s Wearhouse, which he accented with a plaid tie in different hues of purple. Breanna stood next to him, wearing her ivory wedding dress with cuff sleeves in a trumpet style.
Dining tables were decorated with purple and green centerpieces, made up of dahlias and calla lilies accented with hypericum berries. The flowers were arranged inside a wooden box that added some rustic flair.
Circular Chandeliers Topped With Candles
Homemade triple berry jam was given to guests to take home. These were made by Breanna’s stepmother and grandmother, who packaged the jams in small glass jars with kraft paper tags that read “Spread the Love.”
Among the many cupcakes and cakes served at the reception, Breanna and Alex cut the single-tier brown sugar beer cake covered in salted caramel frosting. The cake was placed on a simple white stand and topped with a purple sign that read “Just Married.”
