Stephanie Vasquez, (29, an ER nurse practitioner) and Zachary Pancratz (30, a financial analyst for Deprince, Race & Zollo, Inc.) went to high school together in their hometown of Schaumburg, Illinois. The couple started dating during their sophomore year of college. In about eight years’ time, Stephanie and Zach earned their graduate degrees, started their respective careers and became engaged. Zach proposed during dinner on the first night of their Bahamian vacation. “Stating he was nervous is an understatement,” says Stephanie. “He was shaking and spilled wine all over the table.” They had moved to another table and moved back to the now cleaned original spot when Zachary excused himself for a bit. “All of a sudden the staff came out with a cake, candles, and roses, followed by Zach who then got on his hands and knees and proposed.” The other diners stood up and applauded as Stephanie accepted. With the help of Eventfully Yours, the couple had a classic wedding nine months later. White and silver as well as glamorous touches were used throughout the celebration.

Inspired by Pinterest, the couple had a custom invitation suite designed by 5 Thirteen Designs. Stephanie printed the wedding programs at home and made each table number for the reception, she says.
“I wanted something soft, long and flowy and fell in love with the dresses by Bill Levkoff,” says Stephanie. The bridesmaids wore strapless champagne floor-length dresses with a ruche detail on the bodice. Each paired the dress with a pearl bracelet and earrings given to them by the bride.
Zach’s niece and the Maid of Honor’s daughter served as the couple’s flower girls. Each wore white tulle dresses from David’s Bridal and carried flower wands crafted by Tommy Murphy from Greenery Productions, says Stephanie.

As the couple had been wedding ring shopping before, Zach had an idea of what Stephanie wanted for her engagement band. He had a custom ring designed for her, she says. Stephanie’s engagement ring as well as the couple’s wedding bands were purchased from Bay Hill Jewelers in Winter Park, Florida.

Stephanie and Zach selected the Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort for their venue while it was still under construction! At the time, the couple’s “dream venue” was simply drywall and steel pillars, “But, the vision they described seemed absolutely perfect and even more exciting was that we would be their very first wedding,” says Stephanie.

Stephanie chose a lace trumpet wedding dress by Monique Lhuillier with a tulle skirt and custom details from The Collection Bridal in Winter Park, Florida. “Monique Lhuillier also custom extended the train, as I wanted the classic long train walking down the aisle at the church,” says Stephanie. She complemented the dress with a crystal detailed sash and tulle floor-length veil from the same boutique. Zach wore a classic black tuxedo from JoS. A. Bank and custom cufflinks. “Steph got me custom cufflinks that say our names and wedding date,” says Zach.
The couple took their first dance across a white dance floor to “Then” by Brad Paisley. “The song just has so much meaning to us. It talks about how love just continues to grow and get stronger,” says Stephanie.
The couple decorated their reception with frosted and clear glass stemware, glass chargers, white linens with a shimmer overlay, clear chiavari chairs and tall arrangements of white phalaenopsis orchids in cylinder vases. Stephanie also made each DIY table number.

Stephanie and Zach chose a four-tier white fondant covered wedding cake with silver rhinestones lining the base of each tier. Their rhinestone “P” cake topper was found by Stephanie’s mother. Baked at the Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort, the confection was composed of both chocolate ganache cake with raspberries coulis and fraisier cake with vanilla grand marnier crème anglaise, says Stephanie.
