Adrienne and Brian met at Giordano's Pizza in Chicago, Illinois on a Saturday in June when they were both visiting the city for the weekend. Over the next year, the two would bank a crazy amount of airlines miles, until Adrienne relocated to San Francisco for work and moved in with Brian.?Brian proposed on a weekend trip to New York City. He surprised Adrienne with tickets to "The Book of Mormon" and hired a secret photographer to capture the whole thing on film.?They were married at the dreamy Shakespeare's Garden in Golden Gate Park. They chose this location because Brian wanted modern, simple elegance and Adrienne wanted the beauty of the outdoors, with a touch of ?Old Hollywood style. ?Their wedding color palette was white, emerald green and tan. The couple knew they wanted to incorporate emerald green because it was Adrienne's "happy color" and Brian loved the look of tan suits with emerald green ties.?The groom hired local quintet, Innocenti Strings, and chose non-traditional music with a classic acoustical sound for their outdoor garden wedding. For her walk down the aisle, ?the bride chose "Sweet Child O' Mine" by Guns N' Roses. After the ceremony, Adrienne and Brian passed out favors in memory of deceased grandparents, family and friends. Each favor included a penny for guests to throw into the fountains in Shakespeare's Garden.Adrienne and Brian wanted a non-traditional reception with a view of the stunning San Francisco skyline. They chose the 360 view glass tower at the de Young Museum, where they treated guests to a less formal party with hors d'oeuvres and cocktails.
