Between the lush florals, custom ceremony and Florida-inspired accent colors, Alina Llerandi (26 and in client relations) and Nick Mauritz’s (30 and an accountant) wedding had just the right mix of classic white details and personal flair. The couple started their day in a tented, all-white ceremony at Safety Harbor Resort and Spa as Jennie's Flowers lined the aisle with neutral breakaway vases overflowing with white and green hydrangeas and pink roses. Two more whimsical arrangements of white hydrangeas, green delphiniums, white calla lilies and branches surrounded Alina and Nick as they exchanged rings and completed a Greek Orthodox stefana crowning tradition. After the ceremony, the bridesmaids walked back down the aisle with a subtle tribute to Florida for the out-of-town guests. Simple neutral floor-length dresses and white hydrangea bouquets with a touch of greenery specifically complemented the state’s sandy beaches and natural landscape. “I wanted to play up the beautiful, sunny, green spring tones Florida would offer,” says Alina. Simply Divine Events helped the couple to build on this thought with natural details at their ballroom reception. Amber uplighting filled the room as floating green cymbidium orchid centerpieces were paired with tall displays of white hydrangeas, greenery and willow tip branches. For Alina and Nick, the most important part, however, was creating a party. As soon as dinner ended, everyone hit the dance floor. “We love music and our DJ, Live Fusion Entertainment, was thoughtful to accommodate both our and our guests' tastes, including top hits, latin music (for my family) and our techno jams,” says Alina. “It brought together all our family and friends from all over the country, who despite not all knowing, each other, danced and laughed like one big happy family.” Life Long Studios captured these details and more below.

Jennie's Flowers worked with Alina to design a classic bouquet with a natural look and hint of Florida’s greenery. A lush all-white display of roses, calla lilies and hydrangeas were accented with large leaves at the base. The couple’s florist wrapped the arrangement in a sweet ivory ribbon with pearl detailing.
“Since most of our guests were coming from out of town, I knew I wanted to play up the beautiful, sunny, green spring tones Florida would offer,” says Alina. With a little help from Simply Divine Events, the couple accented their tented ceremony with chandelier lighting, white folding chairs, white columns and a few lush florals. Jennie's Flowers lined the aisle with white hydrangeas, pink roses, green hydrangeas and greenery to note Florida’s natural beauty.
Alina and Nick paid a subtle tribute to Florida with their wedding colors. Each bridesmaids wore a flowing floor-length dress from Lulusa.com in a neutral tone to represent the sandy beaches. The green leaves beneath their white hydrangea bouquets also symbolized the state's natural landscapes, for the couple.
Alina and Nick chose to have their ceremony and Greek Orthodox stefana crowning tradition under a classic white tent at Safety Harbor Resort and Spa. “Even though we weren't getting married in the Greek church, we wanted to intimacy churches offer,” says Alina. The couple lined their ceremony with all white florals as 125 friends and family members watched from rows of white chairs.
After a trip to Men’s Wearhouse, Nick and his groomsmen were dressed in classic black Vera Wang tuxedos for the tented ceremony. Nick stood out with a double white calla lily and rose boutonniere that complemented Alina’s bouquet. Her arrangement also included white hydrangeas and a touch of greenery.
Neutral Floor-Length Convertible Bridesmaid Dresses
Alina's bridesmaids paired their convertible, neutral dresses from Lulus.com with a few simple accessories. Each woman wore the straps in her chosen style then completed the look with a pair of gold Steve Madden heels and her chosen down curled hairstyle or updo.

Chantilly Cakes baked Alina and Nick a classic white wedding cake with a fun twist. Each tier was composed of either red velvet or funfetti cake as a piped design, green hydrangeas and white roses decorated its white icing. “I think the cake cutting just showed the silly, real side of Nick and I,” says Alina. “Especially when I went straight for his face with the cake. No holding back.”
Jennie's Flowers complemented the couple’s Florida-inspired color scheme with two styles of lush centerpieces. Floating green cymbidium orchids in cylinder vases accented a few white linen-covered tables. Others were met with overflowing arrangements of white hydrangeas, willow tip branches and greenery.
The pros at Malindy Elene Bridal helped Alina find a white lace wedding dress that still shined against their all-white decor. ”I tried on all different styles, not knowing what I wanted, but this dress made me feel like a bride,” she says. Designed by Augusta Jones, the dress was covered with a classic lace overlay as matching lace accented her keyhole back and v-neckline. Alina completed the look with a beaded sash and lace-trimmed veil from her Matron of Honor.
