A Classic Winter Wedding at the New York Marriott Marquis in Manhattan, New York

Vicky Mir (25, a business owner and blogger) met Magdiel Rodriguez (23, an accountant) at a mall in Miami after her sister gave him her phone number.“Needless to say we knew very early into our relationship (the first day we met) that we would be getting married,” Vicky says. “Shortly thereafter, we traveled to New York City, my favorite place in the entire world! Along with my family he took us to a beautiful restaurant overlooking an ice skating rink. He got on one knee and popped the question. I handed him a card that once opened read "YES" in red glitteringletters. He was shocked to see that I was one step ahead of his plan. Ever since I was a very young girl, my father would tell us stories of the frigid cold winters of New York City. Being a Miami girl, I would always dream of what NYC felt like and looked like. At a very young age I developed a love for the Big Apple. It was clear no other place in the world would be remotely comparable to this city for our winter wedding. We just knew that NYC was ‘the one.’ My husband and I took three years to plan the wedding. We wanted it to reflect our personalities, our style and most importantly we wanted it to be a fun and unforgettable experience. Our wedding was so small and intimate that all guests were treated as essential parts of our big day. No one went unnoticed and everyone enjoyed themselves.”
