Laine Armstrong (28, chemist) and Joe Van Dyke (39, building contractor) at Carter's Mountain Orchard in Charlottesville, Virginia. Laine was enjoying the sunset with her friends when Joe walked up and introduced himself and his boxer puppy, Marley. Laine immediately fell in love with Marley and eventually fell in love with Joe, too. Joe proposed to Laine over a year later, with an early Christmas gift of a three stone pave diamond ring that he gave to her while they were decorating their Christmas tree. The couple chose to have their fall wedding at the beautiful and historic Blenheim Vineyards in Charlottesville, Virginia, where they live. Laine and Joe's color palette of navy blue, sage and gold contrasted gorgeously with the fall colors that they embraced in their use of pumpkins and hay as rustic decor. Their outdoor ceremony was held under a giant oak tree with vistas of the vineyards and the reception afterwards was held in a nearby marquee. Wedding fashions included a A-line wedding dress with rosettes and a cathedral train, sage flower  girl dresses, navy and lace bridesmaids dresses and sage and navy ties. Laine and Joe's classy, rustic wedding on the grounds of the historic Blenheim Vineyards was picturesque and memorable.

Joe gave Laine a three stone, pave diamond engagement ring when he proposed to her at Christmas time.
