Heidi Pettigrew (37, Director of Marketing Communications) and Paula Currie (42, Director of Technology) wanted a wedding with a urban, modern feel, even though they lived in semi-rural New Hampshire. La Piece - The Room, a renovated mill in Tilton with exposed brick and beams, wooden floors and a separate dance area, gave the couple exactly what they were looking for. Inspired by their location and by a wallpaper print they saw in their hotel room while vacationing in Glasgow, the couple's decor was clean and simple, with white paper lanterns, simple white tablecloths, black Chiavari chairs and potted herbs, dahlias and zinnias displayed in glass vases for the centerpieces.

Heidi wore a scalloped cap sleeve floor length gown with a leaded illusion panel at the neckline and sleeves.
A pink rose decorated the flower girl's soft curled hairstyle.
The flower girl carried a small bouquet of fuchsia zinnias accented by small sprigs of Baby's Breath.
Heidi wore glitter silver strappy heels, adding a touch of glam to her bridal style.
The purple zinnia boutonniere was accented by green leaves.
The couple wrote their own vows for their modern ceremony.
Large white paper lanterns hung above simple white tables surrounded by black Chiavari chairs for the modern reception decor.
The four tier white cake had brown and white hearts cascading down the side.
Heidi wore a cap sleeve floor length gown ruched at the sides and back while Paula wore a white Tahari suit and BCBG shell.
