A Colorful Rustic Wedding at Cedarville Lodge in Gresham, Oregon
Camille Gruba (21, a hairdresser) and Christopher Eagles (22, a supervisor at Starbucks) met in high school.“I wouldn't say it was love at first sight, because we were so young, but it was very close,” Camille says. “We met in high school during my sophomore year and his junior year. He proposed after we did family photos. Our photographer knew, so she got it all in photos and did engagement photos after. I had never felt so loved and happy. I knew for years I wanted to marry him. Our love for each other is so strong, we can and have overcome so many obstacles. We would do anything to make the other one happy. We are a team and have encouraged and supported each other through everything.”The couple started planning their wedding in Gresham, Oregon, at a rustic outdoor venue called Cedarville Lodge. “It was all outside in perfect August weather,” Camille says. “Our theme was classic with a touch of rustic feel. Our colors were dark purple, teal and silver. I always loved the peacock themes I saw on Pinterest but my husband didn't like the feathers since our last name is Eagles (ha!) so I went with the colors. During our ceremony it was very hot, so we gave out water and our programs were fans so our guests were as comfortable as possible.”
