A Country Casual Mountain Wedding at Hualapai Mountain Park in Kingman, Arizona
This Pi Day wedding (March 14) was surrounded by nature to create a country casual vibe—complete with cupcake pies, of course. Morgan Colby (25 and a dental hygienist) and Micah Figley (26 and a business owner) exchanged their vows outdoors in Hualapai Mountain Park in Kingman, Arizona. “We love being in the mountains and wanted a rustic wedding,” the bride says. “Since we were getting married in the mountains, we wanted everything to look very natural.” The wedding flowers included loose arrangements of white gerber daisies, baby’s breath and yellow dahlias, which fit in with the natural setting. Morgan got married in her grandmother’s 57-year-old veil, but the rest of the wedding party matched the country-casual style, with the bridesmaids in clover green dresses and cowboy boots and the groomsmen in suspenders and slacks. The bride loves to dance, so they turned the reception into one big party with backyard barbecue and beverages to go around. The pie-flavored cupcakes topped off the evening. “Just being surrounded by our friends and family made it the perfect day,” Morgan says. Her advice to future couples? “Relax and have fun," the bride says. "In the end, your wedding is about the two of you and celebrating your love.” See the details captured by Jenna Ebert Photography, below.
